Dr. Dre and his ex-wife, Nicole Young, are still battling over the former couple's massive fortune, and now the legendary rapper is accusing her of stealing money from his recording studio business.

According to new legal documents, obtained by The Blast, Dr. Dre and his business advisors are suing Nicole for "stealing" money from the accounts of 'Recording One' studio in Sherman Oaks. In the filing, a company was formed in 2015 -- 13849 Ventura, LLC -- for the purpose of operating a recording studio.

The documents state that Dr. Dre and his ex-wife were listed on the business to be involved in "maintenance and control" of its assets. So, the company claims it entrusted Nicole with the authority to draw checks and transfer funds for the business. Now, according to the suit, they claim Mrs. Young "decimated" the bank account and withdrew $353,571.85. Of course, this was during the time Dre and Nicole had started their divorce proceedings, and she has since been removed from the business trust.

Now, they have filed a lawsuit against Dre's ex-wife claiming she "egregiously" breached her fiduciary duties by "embezzling and stealing money from (the company's) bank account, and using the money for her own, personal obligations."

Interestingly, the lawsuit claims Nicole has violated Penal Code 496, which reads, "Every person who buys or receives any property that has been stolen or that has been obtained in any manner constituting theft or extortion, knowing the property to be stolen or obtained, or who conceals, sells, withholds, or aids in concealing, selling, or withholding any property from the owner...shall be punished by imprisonment in county jail for not more than one year."

As we reported, Dre's camp turned over details of this same situation and LAPD investigated the incident for possible criminal charges.

At this point, it appears the couple's legal teams are still at war, and this is just another argument that might be settled in their ongoing divorce. Our sources say, Nicole -- who is repped by Samantha Spector -- already returned the money -- which was taken out of the account while the couple was still married and she had every right to move the cash.

As we reported, Dr. Dre is now paying spousal support to his ex-wife while the ex-couple negotiations a final settlement. It appears this might be a tactic to shake up the serious negotiations. The couple is currently fighting over a massive fortune that is worth almost a billion dollars. The rapper claims his ex-wife signed a prenup which essentially gives her nothing, but, she is fighting it claiming the agreement was not valid.

We broke the story, Dr. Dre was recently ordered to pay his ex-wife almost $300,000 a month in spousal support. If you do the math, it's a whopping $3.5 Million a year. The point is clear if the rapper is paying almost the same amount of the money disputed in this lawsuit -- A MONTH -- then why are they fighting over it in the first place?!
