Last week, we reported that Spike Lee had gotten a lot of pushback for wanting to include a couple of 9/11 conspiracy theorists in his 9/11 documentary. These conspiracy theorists, though, quickly found a new platform to be able to express their views. Rosie O’Donnell, of all people, is willing to give them a shot to speak up.
Taking Matters Into Their Own Hands

Apparently, after being kicked off from the list of interviews in Spike Lee’s project, this group decided to join forces with a couple of more like-minded folks. To produce another documentary around the events of 9/11. This one is going to be titled, The Unspeakable. The new film is going to see the light of day at a viewing party held on September 10th. Which is set to be hosted by the Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, the exact group that was kicked off the Spike Lee project.
Where Does Rosie O’Donnell Fit Into All This?

Rosie has identified herself as a “truther.” Those are the folks that don’t believe the official story of how the events of 9/11 unfolded. That’s pretty much why she has agreed to host a questions and answers segment after the viewing party. She will be interviewing Michele Little, Bob McIlvaine, Drew DePalma and Bill Brinnier who joined forces to push the project forward. Also, Bob McIlvaine, Drew DePalma and Bill Brinnier are rumored to be the men who were axed from the Spike Lee project.
This Isn’t The First Time That Rosie Speaks Out On Her Views On This Subject

People are identifying themselves as a bunch of different things these days. We’ve known for a while though that Rosie O’Donnell was a “truther”. She has actually commented publicly on the matter more than once. It seems that she is certainly pretty passionate about it. Telling the Washington Post in 2014,
“I do believe that it’s the first time in history that fire has ever melted steel. I do believe that it defies physics that World Trade Center Tower 7 — Building 7, which collapsed in on itself — it is impossible for a building to fall the way it fell without explosives being involved,”
Spike Caved After The Backlash

As we’ve mentioned, last week, Spike Lee came out and defended his position to include folks that believe in conspiracy theories about 9/11 in his documentary. Ultimately, the backlash was so great, he gave in and axed these men from the project. Still, the documentary hasn’t been able to shake off the haters. With people now questioning his choice of potentially overly politicizing the COVID-19 side of the documentary. The “other” documentary on the subject promises to not shy away from controversial topics.
