Ariana Grande is bringing a fresh set of ears, eyes, and knowledge to the set of “The Voice.”
The “Positions” singers will make their debut on the singing competition show’s 21st season come Monday, September 20.
While that’s still a long way away, fans of the show got their first sneak peek at the new season on Tuesday, August 31.
Wearing a sequined little black dress with a necktie, Ariana can be seen sporting her signature sky-high ponytail with her multiple tattoos on display.

Fellow judge and soon-to-be competitor, Blake Shelton sits to her left while John Legend sits to her right. Kelly Clarkson is situated at the far-right end of the judge’s panel.
Shelton tells the cameras, “Ariana is the new coach here, and I’m extending an olive branch when I’m not in the mix. I’m trying to help the kid out,” and the two embrace in a hug.
But as soon as their friendly relationship started, Ariana is shocked to see how nice he’s being to her.
“Hey look that’s Ariana Grande. Look how awesome she is by the way,” Shelton says.
She worriedly responds, “What’s happening? Why is he being nice?”
Legend warns Ari that Shelton is NOT to be trusted. “Never trust it,” he says. To which she replies, “I don’t.”
During a confessional clip, Ariana admits she’s blown away by how much talent this season holds.
“I’m super moved by how brilliant the performers are. I think you are incredible. I only want to help you execute your vision for yourself as an artist,” she says.
Legend also sang Ari’s praises saying, “Ariana is so talented, has a very fine-tuned ear. It’s going to be hard to convince someone to come to Team Legend, but I’m going to make my case.”
The R&B crooner collaborated on the “Beauty and the Beast” soundtrack back in 2017 on the song, “Beauty and the Beast.”
Back in March, fans might recall Ariana’s exciting announcement that she would be replacing previous ‘Voice’ coach Nick Jonas come the following season.
She even gushed about her love for the show in a press release, saying at the time QUOTE, “I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level.”
