The “I’ll Be Missing You” rapper mentioned that family plays a critical role in how he stays ahead of his depression. He was a cool dad before but now the millionaire is a great dad! He is often seen spending time with all his kids on family vacations, shopping trips, and even modeling gigs. He and all his girls are featured in this month’s Vanity Fair magazine. The proud dad gushes about his girls and shares that if it was not for Porter, he wouldn’t be as determined as he is to stay on top of his depression. “I had to start to deal with it when I lost Kim,” noting that the mother of his kids was “it” for him but still as tragic as her passing still is for the rapper,  he wouldn’t change a thing.

Diddy ended his post by sharing another way he copes with his depression; he turned to God. “I kept praying to God and God helped me.  I kept breathing.  You gotta fight your way out and I did thanks to the glory of God,” he states. “I let God and I let go,” the mogul says as a mantra of sorts. The rapper is so serious about his mental health that he started a little movement called the "F**k It Friday movement!" He describes it as "a weekly national holiday to celebrate yourself and a healthy state of mind. If you love yourself take this day to say f**k the bullshit, f**k the stress, f**k the news, f**k any of the bullshit that’s in your life that’s out of your control!"
