Dog The Bounty Hunter isn’t going to let a little be of family drama stop him from marrying his fiancee, Francie Frane, and the reality star just took the first step by obtaining a marriage license.
Duane ‘The Dog’ Chapman reportedly just got his hands on the first round of legal documents needed to make Ms. Frane his lawfully wedded wife, and the move comes on the heels of major family drama over inviting his children to the wedding.
According to reports, the reality television star filed for a license to be married in the recorder’s office of his local courthouse in Colorado. The Dog and his fiancee are scheduled to be married on September 2, 2021 — but, you must obtain the license beforehand — and have the person who conducts the wedding sign it — the make things legally official!
Dog The Bounty Hunter Reportedly Didn’t Invite Daughters To His Wedding!
As we reported, it has been a rough week for Dog and his family after reports surfaced about his daughters — Bonnie and Cecily Chapman — not being invited to the wedding. Unfortunately, the situation has gotten nasty, including each side slinging a bit of dirt in the other direction.
The problems began after Dog’s new fiancee allegedly sent Bonnie a scathing text message alluding to her continued work with UnleashedTV — a network that was working on Dog’s new show. The company fired Duane several months ago, claiming he used racial/homophobic epithets, which led to them terminating his contract. As for Bonnie, she still works with the company on a show called, ‘The System,’ which focused on racial injustice and supporting Black Lives Matter. To be clear, she claims Dog has called BLM protesters “Thugs” and other nasty names.
Dog’s Fiancee Sends Nasty Text Message To His Daughter…
“Let’s not beat around the bush, You & Cecily haven’t been invited to the wedding because you are living under the same roof with people who stabbed in the back, robbed, lied, manipulated, smeared his name, and tried to ruin his career. You and Cecily have chosen to align yourselves with this and my job is to AT ALL COSTS protect your dad !!!,” Frane wrote in the text.
She continued, “I love you Bonnie, and I truly heat with all my heart you and Cecily find what you are earning for and find happiness, true happiness in your life.”
As for Dog, he claims the two girls are being “brainwashed” by a group of people who are misguiding them in the wrong direction. Plus, he’s just not going to allow it to ruin his wedding.
Happily Ever After?!
The wedding marks a huge step in the reality star’s wife after losing his first wife — Beth Chapman — to throat cancer. The bounty hunter met his new fiancee in his home state of Colorado after she lost her husband to the same disease. The couple has been planning their upcoming wedding for months and shared several photos of the preparation including Dog’s tuxedo fitting.
In the end, it appears Dog’s daughter won’t be attending the wedding next week — unless the entire thing is a build-up to some really great reality TV?!
