Camila Cabello RESPONDS To Shawn Mendes Engagement Rumors

Is Cinderella (Camila Cabello) getting ready to wed her Prince Charming (Shawn Mendes)?

That seems to be the word on the street after the literal “Cinderella” star was spotted with a ring on her left-hand ring finger!

Speculation of an engagement between Camila and Shawn has been running the headlines for some time now, so why not get an answer straight from the source.

Camila virtually stopped by “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday, August 26 to promote her new film.

The songstress sported a straight shoulder length bob, a cropped black top with a cut out to show off her taught tummy and dangly earrings.

Fallon cut straight to chase and asked Camila to “clear something up” because they are "best friends."

“I want you to clear something up for me cause there’s all sorts of rumors flying around,” the show host said.

A concerned and questionable came over Camila’s face.

Fallon pulled out a still photo from a TikTok Camila did recently and in the photo you can see a flashy ring on her left hand ring finger.

Fallon continued, “It looks like there’s a ring on that finger.”

“OOO is this news,” Camila quipped. “No guys. Sorry I cut you off.”

“Did Shawn Mendes ask you to marry him” the show host asked.

Camila responded with some news fans MAY not like.

“Um, he has not and I am not engaged,” she revealed.

Funny enough, the reason she was sporting a ring on THAT finger is because she’s still unsure of which hand and finger is the “important” one.

“I swear to god I don’t know the hand the engagement ring goes on. Sometimes I’ll just like put it on my ring finger,” she said. Then she turned to Fallon for advice.

“I’d actually like you to enlighten me. Which hand is the engagement hand, cause I don’t know. My parents are married and they both lost their rings, so I like literally, my mom couldn’t tell me either,” Camila admitted.

Fallon did his best to answer, but he seemed to forget too.

For anyone still out there like Camila, an engagement ring goes on the left hand, and it is placed on the finger in between the middle and pinky finger.

Despite no engagement YET, Shawn and Camila seemed to be the most comfortable couple.

A few weeks ago, the “Havana” singer posted the most relatable video to her TikTok.

She captioned the video, “that first phase of dating when u can’t fart or Poo or be a human.”

However, her BF called her out saying, “but u do fart tho.”
