Meghan Markle is by most accounts totally shut out from the Royal Family at this point. At least that’s what all signs are pointing towards. With her pregnancy and the recent birth of her daughter Lilibet Diana serving as the perfect excuse to mask the truth. At least that’s what sources close to the Royals are saying. In fact, people in Meghan’s camp are essentially saying it as well. The royals were actually happy that Meghan was unable to attend the funeral of the late Duke of Edinburgh.
How We Know This
Anyone who has been following the falling out between Harry, Meghan, and The Royal Family could’ve made the educated guess that the family was happy she didn’t attend. However, this new information is actually coming from people in Meghan’s camp, as we mentioned. The authors of the book “Finding Freedom”, which details the trials and tribulations that Harry and Meghan faced in their time as part of the Royal Family, and their split, are set to release a new epilogue of the book. In it, readers will get a chance to see Meghan and Harry’s reaction to the Duke’s passing.
Is Kate Middleton Suffering From This Fallout?
What does the Duchess of Cambridge have to do in all of this? It turns out that she was not “invited” to attend the revealing of the statue for Princess Diana a couple of months back. The event, which marked another Harry return to the U.K., was attended only by Diana’s family, and Princesses Harry and William. Kate’s absence was announced quite a bit in advance. That may have been by design. To ensure that Meghan wouldn’t hop on the plane with Harry! She’d just given birth at that point, but you never know!
Tying Themselves To Diana’s Legacy
The reason why new chapters in the book “Finding Freedom” are relevant is because it’s like hearing the story directly from the horse’s mouth. Meghan Markle has admitted that she helped out the authors of the book. There’s a good chance that she and Harry are profiting from this as well. Harry in particular has been very vocal about wanting to continue his mother’s legacy. The fact that these new chapters in the book are coming out on the anniversary of Diana’s death does not seem like a coincidence.
An updated version of Finding Freedom will be published on 31st August with a new epilogue. The publishers say it will cover behind the scenes of Harry and Meghan’s interview with Oprah, details behind the move to California, and their “heartbreak” over Prince Philip’s death👇🏻 pic.twitter.com/FSyzZTJhig

Will Meghan & The Royals Ever Be In The Same Room Again?
It’s safe to say that with everything that’s gone on, the relationship between Meghan and The Royal Family is salty, at best. Ever since she took that plane to Canada in the first episode of the Megxit saga, she hasn’t been in the same room with members of the Royal Family. Is this something that’s ever going to happen again? Well, for the time being, there don’t seem to be any upcoming events that could force Meghan to board a plane to cross the pond. The only event on the horizon would be The Queen’s jubilee concert in the summer of 2022. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have expressed they would like to attend. There’s plenty of time then for things to cool off.
