Pete Davidson and Kaley Cuoco looked like quite the “couple” during their nighttime stroll while filming scenes for their upcoming film Meet Cute. Check out the exclusive shots below!
Sweet Like A Real Couple
The comedian and the actress were photographed together, walking arm-in-arm during a night scene in New York City.
According to Deadline, the movie is an “inventive deconstruction of the romantic comedy built around the question: What would you do if you could travel to your loved ones’ past, heal their traumas, fix their problems, and change them into the perfect partner?”
The 35-year-old The Wedding Ringer star will play Sheila, while the 27-year-old SNL cast member will portray Gary. As per the publication, Noga Pnueli wrote the script, while Akiva Goldsman, Gregory Lessans, and Rachel Reznick of Weed Road Pictures are set to produce the film with Santosh Govindaraju and Dan Reardon of Convergent Media.
A Look At Some Scenes
In the photos snapped by paparazzi, Pete was spotted wearing a striped black-and-white shirt with long sleeves, green pants, and black sneakers— the same outfit he's been seen in other night shoots on the production. He was also seen sporting a pencil-thin mustache for the look.
Pete also sported another look, which consisted of a white dress shirt, blue blazer, and plaid pants. He then completed his outfit by wearing a pair of gray loafers.
Meanwhile, Kaley rocked a checkered yellow and white dress with bell sleeves that fell past her knees. She wore a pair of white velcro sneakers and carried a bright orange purse to complete the chic look. The actress’ blonde hair was styled in sleek, straight strands that cascaded down her shoulders. For her accessories, she had a thin gold necklace dangling around her neck.
Noting that Pete had two different looks, possibly for different scenes, Kaley also had a different hairstyle. She had her tresses tied in a bun with her sleek bangs falling over her forehead.
Kaley and Pete joined the cast of the rom-com in late June, and now they are in production. The follows a woman who finds a unique treasure in a nail salon — a time machine. She then uses the device to fix her partner's past traumas to turn him into the perfect mate — which explains the two scenes.
Both Had Been Busy With Their Careers
Since 2014, Pete has been a cast member of the popular show Saturday Night Live. For films, the stand-up comedian starred in the movie The King of Staten Island, which he co-wrote and executive produced. It was based on his life story, which received great critical acclaim. In addition, he recently starred in the Warner Bros. DC sequel The Suicide Squad as Blackguard. Unfortunately, his character died early in the movie.
Meanwhile, Kaley collaborated on The Flight Attendant and worked again with Berlanti Productions and Warner Brothers TV to land the rights to Doris Day: Her Own Story, a film based on the legendary singer’s official autobiography, by A.E. Hotchner. The said project is still in development, with Kaley set as lead.
