Alyssa Milano's Uncle Still On Life Support After Car Accident Caused By Heart Attack

‘Charmed Star’ Alyssa Milano is giving her fans an update on herself and her uncle after a terrifying car accident.

Last week, The Blast reported the actress had been involved in tragic car accident. While she and her uncle Mitch were driving down a Los Angeles freeway, her uncle was in the driver’s seat and she was in the passenger seat, the car veered into another lane of traffic according to the California Highway Patrol.

Mitch had suffered a medical emergency before going unconscious and losing control of the car.

On August 18, she took to social media to reveal the horrifying news.

“Yesterday, my family suffered a terrifying and traumatic event. I was a passenger in a car my Uncle Mitch was driving when he suffered a serious heart attack, resulting in a car crash. I am grateful to the people who stopped to help us,” she wrote. “Please, take this as your inspiration to get CPR certified. You don’t know when you’ll be called upon to save a life. The American Red Cross and many hospitals and other organizations offer regular classes. It’s such a small effort and can have a huge impact.

Alyssa just revealed how she is doing and the status of her uncle. Sadly, his situation is not looking good.

She took to TikTok to give an update about uncle Mitch on Monday, August 23.

With her voice a little shaky, Alyssa started out by saying, “Hi everyone, I just wanted to hop on here to give you all an update on uncle Mitch. Um, for those of you who do not know I was in the car with uncle Mitch last week, we were driving to a doctor’s appointment for me for my ears, because I still have ringing in my ears from Covid.”

Alyssa revealed her uncle suffered a major heart attack and lost consciousness with his foot on the gas.

“It was some of the most horrifying moments of my life,” she explained. “I got the car to stop and there were some incredibly kind people who stopped to help me through the next 40 minutes.”

Alyssa thanked the good Samaritans who stopped and helped before urging others to be those good people out in the real world.

“Uncle Mitch is still in-and-out of consciousness, he’s on life support. My brother went there yesterday and played him some oldies and his whole body started moving, so he really loved that,” Alyssa updated fans. “The nurses at the UCLA Medical Center and the doctors are taking such incredible care of uncle Mitch, but he’s got a long road ahead of him.”

She then revealed some more heartbreaking news, he spiked a fever of 103 over the weekend. Alyssa thinks there might be an infection he is beating while simultaneously recovering from the heart attack and car crash.

The Melrose Place actress stayed positive saying her uncle is a ‘fighter’ and that the doctors are saying ‘every day is a miracle that he is still hanging on.’

Before ending the video, Alyssa had one more PSA for viewers.

“Please get trained in CPR, you could be called upon to save a life at some point and it’s really, really valuable to know how to do that,” she said.
