'90 Day Fiance' Asuelu And His Mother Remain At Odds Since Explosive Fight On Show

There is no love lost between Asuelu and his mother after their fight on the “90 Day fiancé” show. A lot of harsh words were exchanged leading to Asuelu’s mom being ejected from the house in an angry state.

The Samoan native further revealed during a sit-down, that there was no communication between him and his mother, Lesina, since the last time she came on the show.

Asuelu’s rocky relationship with his mum got even rockier as seen in the Sunday episode of the show. The drama that ensued after the family Christmas dinner was spurred by Asuelu’s family’s incessant request for money and was further escalated when Lesina suggested that Asuelu should get another wife so that he can have more kids.

Tammy, his sister supported the suggestion and things almost got physical with the awkward meeting coming to a sudden end as Asuelu’s family was booted from the house.

In a clip of the fight shown by the production company recently, an intense argument ensued between the family, and from what fans viewed, it would take some kind of intervention to put out this flame.

"Son, you better find another wife please," Lesina blurted out, which was a response to Kalani's (Asuelu's wife) decision not to have more children at that moment. "You want me to go find another woman?" asked Asuelu. "There's a lot of women in Samoa," his sister said. "You will find one that will give you whatever that you want.” "That's ridiculous," he replies, as both Lesina and Tammy begin to get visibly angry at each other. "If you're not agreeing with what I'm saying, shut up," Lesina informs her son.

"Why did you tell me you need another baby? We are trying to help you!" Lesina added. After that, Kolini, Kalani's sister, spoke in defense of both Kalani and Asuelu. "I think we're done yelling because we're not going to get into this house and start yelling at him in his own house and disrespecting him," she said.

"He's my brother," Tammy says, then Kolini retorted by saying, "He's my family now." "And she just said if she doesn't want a baby, she doesn't want a baby," Kolini continues. "You cause the trouble, you cause the trouble, you see!" Lesina then yells before Asuelu decides to remove his mom and sister from the house. They were forced to relive the painful event as they watched the clip at the Tell All.

During an exclusive sneak peek on the second part of the “Happily Ever After” in the ‘Tell All’ episode, the air was still very tense between Asuelu and his mother. As the clip of their argument came on the big screen courtesy of the production, Kalani and Asuelu showed growing signs of anger.

“She’s my mom and I love her very much so it just breaks my heart that she comes to my family for holidays and that’s the last time I spoke to her,” cried Asuelu.

‘Tell All’ host Shaun Robinson, then inquired from Kalani if she wanted her husband to cut ties with his family? Talk about a triggering question! Her reply did not come out straight as an apology, but from the looks of it, she was sorry for how the argument occurred and got prolonged.

“It’s just hard,” Kalani admitted painfully. “In Samoa culture, your mom can never do anything wrong that would ever warrant not talking to her, but to me, there are certain lines that just shouldn’t be crossed, that got crossed.”

Although things have gotten near physical between Kalani and her in-laws over time, this might be the match in the powder barrel for her.

She had a fight with Lesina and Tammy last season when they continued to request for Asuelu to send more money back home. Tammy and Kalani almost came to blows, and ever since, the mom-of-two decided to keep her distance from Asuelu’s family.

However, Asuelu acted as the peacemaker, hoping to reconcile the family over the Christmas holidays, so he invited his mother and Tammy for dinner. To his dismay, things didn't go as intended as his mother blurted out very hurtful comments to Kalani, and insisted that her son marry another woman.

The future for the family seems uncertain at the moment, but maybe the ‘Tell All’ will bring even more surprises including a reconciliation, so let’s keep our fingers crossed on this one.

The 5ft 7inches tall, handsome reality TV star, was born in a small village in Falealili, Upolu, Samoa, an island country in the Pacific Ocean.
