The “Avengers” series was truly an era— from a culmination of beautiful storytelling and make-believe three-dimensional scenery, we got to see the point of it all.
Thanos got all the Infinity Stones he craved for, used them to wipe out half of the earth’s existence, including a bunch of heroes who reversed the destruction and tried to save the world. It was nothing like what Hollywood had ever produced as they rewarded their fans’ love and patience with blockbusters that left them beside themselves with emotions. It ultimately became one of the most cinematic delights of the season.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like anything similar would happen anytime soon. The Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is now a churn out of interconnected blockbuster movies, started as an adventure, but it has expanded more than it was in 2012.

There were announcements of the inclusion of Disney TV shows in the MCU and phase four movies, but the company sealed its lips on the date of the release of “Avengers 5” that fans are craving. Another “Avengers” series is indeed coming out, as this news was confirmed by Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, but how long should fans wait for it? That’s the million-dollar question.
When’s The ‘Avengers 5’ Release Date?
No date has been set in stone yet, although there were speculations online. During an interview with the Collider, Feige gave an insight into when fans might be seeing another Avengers on the big screen.
In his words, “I think we want there to be a reasonable amount of time from the Endgame to start a new saga, which is already underway and already started. And then you need time, as you did in Phase 1, to build that saga before you start bringing everyone together.”

There were four years between “Iron Man” and the “Original Avengers” in 2012, three years between this and “Avengers: Age of Ultron” in 2015, and three and four years between “Infinity War” and “Endgame”, respectively. Hence, there is a high chance of a three to the four-year gap between “Endgame” and “Avengers 5.”
Why There Is No Release Date Yet
Feige’s reasoning isn’t out of place at all. The first “Avengers” film was an absolute success because there was adequate planning and a foundation laid over the years. This could also be said for other Marvel franchises that grossed out in the past. m
If fans wanted to experience something like “Avengers: Endgame” or even better, they might have to be patient and let it slowly cook. Another point that should be noted is that Marvel was aware of the fact that the last series would be a standard, so rather than rush the project and try to outdo its predecessor, it is only wise to take a breather and reset. In the interim, anticipation was built up amongst fans.

Feige also disclosed that as Marvel continued to develop, a “new legend” was going to take shape in the grander scale of things. There was going to be a new lineup of heroes who would determine the course of action that would occur in the next few years. This is something that is already pretty obvious.
Marvel Studios was introducing new heroes and villains at an exponential rate. This could also be noticed in the enriched arc of the remaining Avengers. There have also been rumors of an additional Young Avengers team-up. What this means for ‘Avenger 5’ is unknown, but one thing is sure— it isn’t going to look like anything MCU ever produced.
Who Would Be Involved in the ‘Avengers 5’ Cast?
It’s hard to say, but we made logical guesses. After “Endgame,” we lost some of our heroes.
Iron Man and Black Widow died while Steve Rogers retired, living in an alternate reality. Also, Thanos is out of the picture and Thor is off with the Guardians of the Galaxy— so it’s possible they can make an appearance.
The only person left out of the cast is Hulk, and he’s permanently scarred after using the Infinity Gauntlet to revive everyone who died in the decimation. Earthbound heroes like Ant-Man, Falcon, Wasp, Scarlet Witch, Spiderman, and many others may join in the cast. There’s a high likelihood of incorporation of new heroes like She-Hulk and Miss Marvel, but there’s no telling how they’ll fit into the Avengers crew.
Wrapping Up
“Avengers 5” might be released in 2025, but that’s just wild speculation.
Marvel scheduled a lineup of movies and isn’t in a hurry to announce any more titles, at this point. No matter how soon or how far, one thing is sure— we still have eons to go before we see the team back up on our screens.
So, fans might as well sit back and enjoy each ride of every lined-up movie because when they eventually get the “Avengers” series, it’ll be more glorious and explosive than when they got to watch the Avengers save the world from incorrigible Thanos.
