OnlyFans Will Ban PORN From The Platform Come October

OnlyFans is banning porn from the platform.

We repeat, OnlyFans is banning pornographic content from the platform. This is not a drill!

Alright OnlyFans fans… your time with any pornographic content is limited. The website announced it will be sexually explicit content from the platform come October.

The popular app said in a statement to Variety it is making changes “to comply with the requests of our banking partners and payout providers,

The ban will go into effect on October 1, 2021.

The statement continued, “OnlyFans will prohibit the posting of any content containing sexually explicit conduct. In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform, and to continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines.”

Per Variety, “According to OnlyFans, creators will continue to be allowed to post content containing nudity as long as it is consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy.”

Currently, OnlyFans creators are allowed to publish nudity on the platform except in the case of public nudity recorded in or broadcast from a jurisdiction where public nudity is illegal.

“We will be sharing more details in the coming days, and we will actively support and guide our creators through this change in content guidelines,” the company explained. “OnlyFans remains committed to the highest levels of safety and content moderation of any social platform. All creators are verified prior to being able to upload any content to OnlyFans, and all uploaded content is checked by automated systems and human moderators.”

The reaction to the news on social media has been plentiful and hilarious.

Multiple celebrities have taken to the app/platform as means to connect with fans and provide salacious content.

Bella Thorne, Tyler Posey, Tana Mongeau and Tyga are among the many celebs with accounts.

Bella caused a huge ruckus on the app back in 2020 after cashing in $1 million in 24 hours and $2 million in one week.

Bella became the first content creator on the platform to earn that much money in 24 hours with her rate being $20 a month for subscribers.

Her account even caused the site to crash, because so many people were trying to subscribe to her. We should note...a bit of anger and frustration was felt on social media when users realized, in fact, completely naked. Plus, Bella has never promised or said she would be posting nude content on the site -- and it appears the actress will continue delivering the same content as she has in the past.

Danielle Bregoli, aka Bhad Bhabie, beat Bella’s record back in April of this year.

In just SIX HOURS she earned over $1 million!!! According to Billboard, the rapper charges $23.99 per month for access to photos and videos on her OnlyFans page, which she created one week after her 18th birthday.
