'RHOA' Star Kandi Burruss Reveals Inside Her Breast Reduction Surgery!

Kandi Burruss is opening up about a recent breast reduction surgery, and the reality star actually shared images from inside the hospital during the cosmetic treatment!
The 'Real Housewives Of Atlanta' star detailed the surgery on her new YouTube series 'Body Work' revealing she decided to undergo the procedure after losing a few pounds this summer. "Let’s not let all the other diets and stuff that I’ve done confuse you into thinking that that’s what made my boobs get reduced -- because it is not, honey!” she began.

In the video, Kandi describes the decision-making leading up to the surgery and tells fans she decided to get it done after a friend had the surgery with great success. Interestingly, Kandi allowed cameras inside of the actual hospital room for the before AND after the process to document the entire thing! And...we get to see it all.
As for the decision to go public, Buruss says point-blank, "been trying everything to lose weight."
“I did have some weight loss. I have tried some juice fasts recently. Or, excuse me, ‘juice cleanse’ recently,” Kandi says. Adding, “Yes, I did lose a couple of pounds with that. I have been trying to change the way I eat. I’ve been trying intermittent fasting.”
“I went to a doctor and … he cut a chunk off of each one of them, OK? I’m just gonna keep it 100 with you," she told the camera. "He reduced these bad boys."

The best part, Kandi allowed for the cameras to capture the images and video immediately following the surgery, where she is so out of it she can't really form a sentence (we've all been there!) But, the YouTube segment really gives a full view of what it was like to undergo such a process. In the end, she admitted her new breasts were "perky" and "smaller for sure."
During the segment, Kandi also admitted to undergoing liposuction and having a tummy tuck. The beauty regiment included botox and fillers, but claims she stopped getting the fillers at some point in the past. The reality star says the point of this series in the hope that the details could help others in making their decision to do it.
The 'RHOA' star says she will share more post-operation footage on another episode.

This isn't the first time a 'Real Housewives' star decided to go under the knife and allow cameras to capture the details about the surgery. 'RHOBH' star Lisa Rinna's daughter -- Amelia Gray Hamlin -- opened up recently about her decision to undergo treatment at 16 years old after a nipple piercing caused an infection in her body.
"I already had the strep living in my system and then it went to that part of my body because it was an open wound,” she said. Adding, “When I tell you, my boobs were this big, and I, like, didn’t just get those down naturally … I had to fully get surgery. I had to get a breast reduction.”
