Scarlett Johansson Welcomes First Child With Husband Colin Jost!

Scarlett Johansson is a second-time mama! The Avengers star and her husband Colin Jost welcome their first baby together, the actress' rep Marcel Pariseau confirmed to PEOPLE.

The comedian recently made the pregnancy announcement while performing at his stand-up gig at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Connecticut over the weekend, as per Page Six.

According to a source in the audience, the 39-year-old comedian stated: “We’re having a baby, it’s exciting.”

Back in July, the media outlet also reported about Johansson’s pregnancy. An insider revealed that the Oscar-nominated actress was already in the last trimester and was “actually due soon.”

Another source added: “Scarlett is pregnant but has been keeping it very quiet. She has been keeping a very low profile.”

Johansson’s pregnancy rumors started in June when news of her skipping out on multiple Black Widow events broke out.

“She hasn’t been doing many interviews or events to promote Black Widow, which is surprising since it is a huge Marvel/Disney release and she is both the star and an executive producer,” the publication’s source noted.

Johansson was actually doing work “virtually.” She attended promotional appearances via Zoom and joined Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show on June 21 through a video call — featuring only her shoulders up.

Johansson met Jost in 2010 at SNL, where she was a guest-host at the time. The couple started their relationship in 2017 and got engaged in May 2019 after two years of dating. Johansson debuted her 11-carat engagement ring that same year while taking the stage at San Diego Comic-Con. The pair then married in October 2020 in an intimate ceremony. They also announced their marriage with a post on the Instagram account of Meals on Wheels America, all while also asking for donations for the nonprofit.

“What you see is what you get with him," Johansson said of her husband in an interview with Parade. "He's very optimistic, easygoing, funny, nice, and those are the qualities that really drew me to him."

Jost, on the other hand, described his lovely wife as "beautiful, smart, sweet and intimidatingly sophisticated" with "a grace and a smile that I've still never seen in any other human” in his 2020 book entitled, A Very Punchable Face: A Memoir.

Johansson is also a mom to Rose Dorothy, 6, whom she shares with her ex-husband Romain Dauriac. In a recent interview, she openly discussed about parenting and how she encourages her firstborn to eat healthy meals, while also talking about her partnership with HumanCo.

"It's funny, but I think I never really had to trick her into eating healthy," Johansson shared. "I think it's best just letting kids discover food that way without making it feel like a chore. Everybody has a different palate. I've never tried to force my kid to eat anything she didn't like, and I never tried to hide any foods from her because I was trying to pack in an extra carrot. Just offer a variety as much as possible."
