Soulja Boy Signs Chet Hanks to Rap Label: 'Bout To Make History'

In case you weren’t sick of him already, unapologetic culture vulture Chet Hanks has been signed to Soulja Boy AKA Big Draco’s record label SODMG Records. The duo appeared in a video together on the “Crank That” rappers' IG page where they were extremely excited to share the news. “Welcome my newest artist @chethanx to the family @sodmgrecordsllc” wrote Big Draco with an obscene amount of non-relatable emojis. In the video, Soulja Boy announces that Hanks is the “first rapper to sign” onto his new label. He also claimed that together, the two are about to make history.

‘Album On The Way’
In the post, Big Draco also told fans to stay tuned because an “album is on the way”, something that we all will be waiting on the edge of our seats for! As for what the wannabe Jamaican Hanks was doing, literally echoing the words of Soulja Boy. In addition, of course, to throwing up a bunch of nonsensical hand gestures and expressing excitement about landing a record deal with Soulja Boy who has his own set of issues to focus on besides signing artists.
Problematic Chet
Hanks has already kind of made a name for himself but not necessarily for the right reasons. The hopeful rapper is known for posting videos of himself attempting to speak Patois, the Jamaican dialect. Not only is it offensive AF but it is poorly done. Fortunately, for him, the antics have landed him a record deal and almost 600,000 followers on IG. Parents Rita Wilson and Tom Hanks must be adequately proud of their son. The rapper who claims on his IG that he has “no chill” also posted the video of the exciting news. “JUST SIGNED TO #SODMG‼️JUST WAIT TO SEE WHAT WE DO NEXT @souljaboy @sodmgrecordsllc U DIGG 💯.” He also tagged producer Stephen Belafonte who was the one filming the video.
No Chill = Trolling
This news comes a short time after Hanks went viral for his stance on the COVID-19 vaccination. “Just like you have the right to be mad at me 'cause I said I’m not going to get the vaccine, I have the right to not get that s**t,” he mocked fans in the video. He later circled back and shared with his followers that not only was he trolling them, but he also actually got the vaccine a while ago. “Look, I’ve been kinda on the fence about this for a while,” Hank said with a straight face. “But with the amount of people that I know recently that have gotten COVID and with, like, the numbers rising, I think it’s important for me to say, like, I got the vaccine. I think everybody should. I think it’s really important that we all do this just as, like, citizens [and] as Americans. We have to look out for each other.”

Upcoming Album
As for Hanks's upcoming album followers are already speculating that it will be full of “culture-vulture type lyrics” and others are inclined to believe the observant follower noting that “Chet has done some suspect things in the past” and therefore his album will most likely be an interesting listen. Are you excited for whatever Big Draco and Chet Hanks have coming up?
