Dax Shepherd and his wife Kristen Bell recently shared that they only bathe their children when they begin to smell foul. As for themselves, the same thing. They don’t shower or wash down every day either. They too believe that the natural oils of the skin help to keep them clean and regular bathing somewhat hinders those oils from doing their job. Shepherd shared that he and Bell used to bathe their children every day mostly when they were babies. It was apart of a “routine” something that newborns need like milk! But as they got older sometimes, they would fall asleep and didn’t need the bath to calm them down and make them sleepy. That made him and Bell realize that they had no problem being a fan of “waiting for the stink. Once you catch a whiff, that's biology's way of letting you know you need to clean it up.” Does anyone else hope that this is not the way Gyllenhaal doesn’t agree with that last part?
