Lamar Odom canceled an upcoming appearance claiming he is suffering from dehydration and exhaustion, and it has many worried about his condition.
The former NBA star was slated to appear today on a Facebook Live show, ‘Addiction Talk’ with Joy Sutton — but canceled at the last minute on Wednesday over what they called “health concerns.” As you can imagine, if you are a fan of celebrity news you know that “dehydration and exhaustion” can often be code for issues involving substance abuse.
Of course, Lamar has been on a great sober and healthy path and has spoken openly about his struggles with sobriety.
“Just moments ago we received information from his team, the agency that works with him, that let us know that he won’t be able to join us tonight due to some health concerns,” Sutton shared on the live stream.
Lamar Odom Suffering With ‘Health Concerns’

She continued, “We’ve been told that he’s dealing with dehydration and exhaustion, and I can tell you that he did want to be here tonight.”
It should be noted, Lamar has not addressed the situation, but a representative for the show claims the former NBA star is suffering from ailments due to “working out and basketball camps.” They continued, “We ask that you lift him to the light and hold him there as he rests and heals.”
Obviously, many are just worried about Lamar’s great progress with his treatment and don’t want this situation to be anything worse than what is being said.
Working Out Too Hard?!

As we reported, Odom recently revealed his decision to use powerful psychedelics to treat his long-term drug addiction. The basketball star sat down with ‘The Megan Pormer Show’ on Fox LA and discussed his use of ‘Ibogaine’ for substance abuse treatment. “I did experiment with another psychedelic drug, Ibogaine, which is like the grandfather of psychedelic drugs, and I think that’s where I had the most spiritual experience…They say the first person you see is someone really close to you in your family,” he said.
He continued, “The first person I saw was my cousin Sierra, who at one time, even though I’m young, my grandma and I helped raise her. Her face was big, it was like this close to me. And then I kept hearing my mother’s voice, my grandmother’s voice, and that was of course extremely spiritual that I got to reconnect with their voices…And then I got to see my son. I got to see him at the age he passed away. I got to see him at the age…8 or 9 years old. And then I got to see him at the age he would be now…Just to see him was enough. It was crazy.”
See The Details…

Lamar admitted to using another powerful drug, Ketamine, in small doses to treat his ongoing addiction. The former Los Angeles Lakers star is currently working on a documentary about his experimentation with the substances.
In the end, everyone hopes it’s not serious…and get well soon!
