Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber joined musical forces at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent months-long lockdown.

Their song, “Stuck With U,” was a MAJOR pandemic mood and basically summed up what we all were going through while being locked in our homes.

The song was a collaboration between Grande, Bieber, Scooter Braun’s SB Projects (which manages both Grande and Bieber), Republic Records and Def Jam Recordings.

While the song brought harmonious joy to many fans’ ears, behind the scenes “Stuck With U” was doing much more.

The single was released on May 8, 2020 in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. 100% of the profits from streaming and sales were donated to the First Responders Children’s Foundation.

The foundation’s mission statement reads, “First Responders Children’s Foundation provides financial support to children who have lost a parent in the line of duty as well as families enduring significant financial hardship due to tragic circumstances.  First Responders Children’s Foundation also supports, promotes, and facilitates educational activities and programs created and operated by first responder organizations whose purpose is to benefit children or the community at large.”

Since the song’s release, $3.5 million has been raised and donated to the foundation according to an exclusive report from Variety.

At the time of the song’s release, the president of the ‘FRCF’, Jillian Crane, said, “The generosity, and support that Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Scooter Braun have shown the men and women on the front lines of this ongoing pandemic has been a surreal and humbling experience for us.”

She continued, “As an organization, we have been able to help the everyday heroes who have been on the frontlines of the pandemic, and their family’s immediate needs with the support that has only been made possible due to the collective effort of everyone involved, which we are thankful for.”

“Stuck With U” also introduced us to Ariana’s now-husband, Dalton Gomez. Fans got a small glimpse of her new man (at the time) in the music video.

The music video featured countless celebrity cameos from Hailey Bieber, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Demi Lovato, Chance the Rapper, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, Michael Bublé and Jaden Smith.

Bieber reposted the exciting news to his Instagram Story.

It’s great seeing celebrities put their talents toward a good cause!
