Britney Spears is sick and tired of waiting for her next conservatorship hearing.
The hearing, which is set for late September, will determine if her father, Jamie Spears, will continue to serve as a co-conservator or remove him entirely from the conservatorship.
As many Britney fans know, she gave an explosive testimony on June 23.
The “Slave For You” singer claimed the conservatorship was “abusive,” she explained she was put on Lithium against her will, and even said the conservatorship has blocked her from removing her IUD.
Brit has not held back about her feelings toward the 13-year conservatorship and her family since the hearing.
It’s apparent from Britney’s POV that having her father involved in the conservatorship is detrimental to her overall well-being. That is why her lawyer has filed legal documents to move up her next conservatorship hearing from late September to August.
Remove Jamie Spears NOW!
The Blast previously reported on the singer’s massive legal victory of getting to choose her own lawyer, Matthew Rosengart.
Back in July, Rosengart filed a petition to appoint a new conservator of her estate.
Britney nominated Jason Rubin for the task. In this petition, Britney also made herself clear that this nomination is not waiving in any way, her rights to seek termination or other modification of the conservatorship.

In legal documents obtained by The Blast, Rosengart says, “In short, although a two-month wait for a hearing on the Petition may not seem significant in the context of 13 years, Ms. Spears should not be forced to continue feel traumatized, lose sleep, and suffer further. Every day matters.”
Rosengart also quotes Britney’s personal conservator, Jodi Montgomery, who says, “Mr. Spears’s removal as Conservator is critical to [Britney’s] emotional health and well-being and in the best interests of the conservatee.”
Montgomery also revealed that she has had multiple conversations with Britney’s medical team and they all agree it is in the singer’s best interest to remove Jamie from serving as Conservator.
Rosengart says, “every day that passes is another day of avoidable harm and prejudice to Ms. Spears and the Estate.”

He also notes that every day that passes, Britney’s financial health takes a massive hit. The singer has shelled out millions over the course of 13 years to her father, his legal team and more.
Rosengart also stated, “If the Court Cannot Grant This Application Due to Calendar Constraints, The Court Should Nevertheless Suspend Mr. Spears’s Powers Immediately Because Further Delay in His Removal Would Not Be in The Best Interests of the Conservatee and
Will Cause Further Injury To The Conservatee and To The Estate.”
As of now, no action has been taken by the Court.
