Diddy says he was not trying to shoot his shot with Jennifer Lopez. That is pretty much what he is trying to explain in regard to the picture that he posted on social media back from the days when he was dating Jennifer Lopez. Diddy mentioned that the two were just friends, and that was what he was trying to reflect with the picture.
He Deleted The Picture Anyway
It’s not clear how much of an impact that throwback picture may have had on his personal life. Anyway, he decided to go ahead and delete virtually all of the pictures that he had on his IG page. In favor of just promoting his new music. He did tell Vanity Fair though that he had,

“Nothing to say about her relationship or her life”
Another past relationship though put Diddy through something he probably thought he wasn’t going to have to experience. At least not at this point in his life.

Getting Over The Death Of His Baby Mama
One of the most gut-wrenching parts of the interview that Diddy had with the magazine happened when he talked about the death of Kim Porter. Whom was the mother of 3 of Diddy’s kids. She passed away in 2018 of pneumonia. On finding a way to cope with the loss Diddy mentioned,
“I had to start to deal with it when I lost Kim. ‘Cause I was like, man, you had it. I’m not saying I would do any of it differently. God willing — I would have had more time… I look at my life as I got a second chance. I’m on my second mountain.”
Getting Back To Music
It’s not clear whether that particular loss of his baby mama was the catalyst that brought Diddy back to music. He was clear though that he is looking to put forth an R&B type album. As he believes that the genre has been pretty much abandoned over the last few years. This is what he said about his return to music.
“Yeah, all R&B label, because I feel like R&B was abandoned and it’s a part of our African American culture,”he continued with, “And I’m not signing any artists. Because if you know better, you do better. I’m doing 50–50 partnerships with pure transparency.”
Changing His Name … Again
Sean Diddy Combs is not content with the number of times that he’s legally changed his name. At least he hasn’t gotten to the levels of the artist formerly known as Prince! However, he’s made another name change. Now having Love as his middle name. On this switch, Diddy mentioned,
“Love is a mission,” he went on to say. “I feel like that’s one of the biggest missions that will actually shift things. But besides that, we — the world — is different. We have the internet, we have the power, we have a culture, I have us on a five-year plan.”
