Rapper DaBaby Dropped From THREE More Festivals Following Homophobic Rant

DaBaby is continuing to feel the impact of his on-stage homophobic rant after the rapper was dropped from three more festivals.
The 'Levitating' rapper has just been removed from three festivals including Austin City Limits, iHeartRadio, and Midtown Music. All of the venues posted similar things on social media, with ACL saying, "DaBaby will no longer be performing at Austin City Limits Music Festival -- lineup update coming soon."
"DaBaby will no longer be performing at Midtown Music Festival. Lineup update coming soon," another read. As for iHeart, they issued a statement to Rolling Stone, saying, "DaBaby will no longer be performing at the iHeart Radio Music Festival Daytime Stage."
DaBaby Dropped Again...
Interestingly none of the venues specifically cited the homophobic rant as the reason behind the sudden change.
As we reported, the news comes on the heels of several other events canceling DaBaby including the Governors Ball and Lollapalooza.
On Monday, the rapper apologized for the second time for his remarks, admitting they were "hurtful and triggering" to the LBGTQ community. "Social Media moves so fast that people want to demolish you before you even have the opportunity to grow, educate, and learn from your mistakes,” he wrote. “As a man who has had to make his own way from very difficult circumstances, having people I know publicly working against me — knowing that what I needed was an education on these topics and guidance — has been challenging. I appreciate the many people who came to me with kindness, who reached out to me privately to offer wisdom, education, and resources. That’s what I needed and it was received," he wrote.
Rapper Apologizes For A Third Time
He continued, "I want to apologize to the LGBTQ+ community for the hurtful and triggering comments I made. Again, I apologize for my misinformed comments about HIV/AIDS and I knew education on this is important. Love to all. God bless."
The rapper received a harsh reaction to his original apologies which didn't seem to be entirely remorseful. At first, he attempted to deflect the reaction to his comments saying they were "digested" wrong by many on social media -- and only apologized for "being me."
The rapper removed the comment from his latest Instagram post, but it appears organizers of future events are not giving him a pass.
As we reported, DaBaby stunned an audience at the Rolling Loud Festival after he asked the crowd to hold up their cell phone flashlights, "didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS or any of the deadly sexually transmitted diseases that will make you die in two to three weeks.”
