Simone Biles is not completely done with this year's Toyko Olympics and has just announced she will return for the balance beam finals!

Team USA made the announcement via social media that its star gymnastic is BACK after taking a break last week due to mental health issues. As we reported, Biles bowed out of competition several days ago saying a mental block had her concerned for her own safety.

It's great news, and fans should expect Biles to hit the balance beam on Tuesday. "We are so excited to confirm that you will see two U.S athletes in the balance beam final tomorrow -- Suni Lee AND Simone Biles!!" USA Gymnastics said in a statement. Adding, "Can't wait to watch you both!"

At this point last week, it was unclear if Biles would ever compete in the future, let alone this year's competition.

As for the problems, Biles claims she was "petrified" of what she was experiencing while trying to do her amazing stunts. The gold-medal-winning gymnast described the mental block as the "twisties" -- a condition that terrifyingly wouldn't allow for her to find her bearing while spinning in the air. If you have ever watched her compete...that is a very large part of her day on the mats.

"Literally can not tell up from down. It's the craziest feeling ever," she described it. Adding it's like "Not having an inch of control over your body. What's even scarier is since I have no idea where I am in the air I also have NO idea how I'm going to land, or what I'm going to land on. head/hands/feet/back..."

The good news, Biles has been receiving treatment somewhere in Toyko to try and help get beyond the condition, and it appears she is happy with the results from those sessions. Unfortunately, it is unclear if Biles actually has a shot at gold this round, considering it's not her top event -- and she previously won the bronze medal in the 2016 Olympics. But, either way, if she is able to come back and compete at all in these games -- it will be quite the accomplishment.

MyKayla Skinner, who replaced Biles in the vault final on Sunday, said she believes Simone will be back as early as Tuesday. "Yeah, I think so," she said. "I don't know for sure. It's kind of up to her. So that's the game plan."

The best part is Biles has been in attendance at the Ariake Gymnastics Centre in Toyko to cheer on her teammates regardless of her own issues. Simone was present for the Monday floor final, which started minutes after the news broke.

As we reported, Simones issues have sparked huge support from many includes her teammates, ex-Olympians, and celebrities. Obviously, it was a very hard decision for the gymnast due to the expectations the country has of her performance this year -- but, many are applauding her for taking a step back in such a major moment.
