Safaree Samuels is not happy about VH1 producers okaying a clip of his daughter falling and thankfully avoiding a huge accident. Samuels took to social media to call out the producers, editors, and anyone else involved in the decision to air a clip of his daughter Safire tripping over his guitar. “Y’all LHH editors ain’t s**t,” write the rapper in the first of two tweets. “We told y’all not to air my baby falling and y’all still used it. Had us reshoot a whole bunch of bulls**t and y’all still used that,” he said about the incident. During the scene, fans can see that now estranged wife Erica Mena is visibly upset with Samuels because of his reaction.

It Wasn’t Funny
The scene showed the rapper laughing at his daughter tripping over the instrument and Mena annoyed and telling Samuels to pick up their daughter who, at this point, was crying. Apparently, that is not how the scene went down and according to the 39-year-old, the network promised not to air that upsetting footage. “That was tacky and tasteless!! It’s definitely about to be a wrap on my time with y’all,” threatened the “Liar” rapper. “Y’all be wanting too much of ppl time to be doin dat type of wack shit!!” he went on to share. Samuels also gave a little insight into how much of the actual footage was used. “We filmed a hr long convo for that scene and y’all chop it to 3 mins and use that and make it a focal point. Weak,” he wrote.

Lack Of Respect
Samuels was also referring to the fact that he is highly disappointed in how the show made it look when Mena shared that surprise! she was pregnant… again. From the looks of it, Samuels was visibly annoyed, and not even the news of having a baby boy was going to change that. However, he has also claimed that the footage was taken out of context as well. “Y’all don’t have no respect, because that was not my response of me finding out I was having a boy!” Unfortunately, for the rapper, fans find that hard to believe because of his actions around the time his son was born.

Post & Delete
The rapper posted a photo of his son soon after the birth but deleted it a short time afterward. Leaving fans to speculate that something shady was definitely happening behind the scenes. Then, he decided it was a great idea to post several photos of himself celebrating his birthday in his native country Jamaica. In the meantime, his estranged wife was posting an update on their son who, at that point had spent his entire life in the NICU. 10 days at the time of Mena’s emotional Instagram update. The mom of three subtly shaded Samuels but mostly shared her thanks for how strong her son is being at this time. She also showed gratitude for the life she has built for herself.

Publicity Stunts?
Fans question if Samuels and Mena are doing this for clout. The couple still shares their home together and fans of the show are struggling to believe that they could have this much drama and still be living together. Followers commented on Samuels’ rant questioning why he thinks it is okay to complain when he has been on the show for some time now. “You've been doing this for 4 years. you knew what you were getting into, you’re just upset because the storyline isn't making you look too good,” they commented. One follower commented on the fact that the rapper does “wack s**t all day long” so now he’s mad that it’s on TV? It doesn’t look like Samuels can come out of this situation looking good.
