Weeks after the fight, multiple participants of the event came forward saying they had not been paid.
The event was organized by Social Gloves in partnership with streaming platform LiveXLive.
The lawsuit obtained by The Blast states, “On or about march 14, 2021, SGP entered into an agreement with LiveXLive Corp, to use LiveXLive’s platform and its staff to facilitate the livestreaming of the pay-per-view event known as Social Gloves YouTube vs. TikTok (“Event”).
It goes on to say, “Austin McBroom and SGP represented to LiveXLive that their anticipated viewership for the Event was 2.2 million paying audience members and that SGP was committed to and confident that it would achieve these ticket sales.
McBroom is being sued for $100 million and this could really set his financial woes over the edge.
The Blast previously reported the ACE Family is potentially facing foreclosure on their $7 million mega-mansion.
Earlier this month the mega-mansion was posted on websites such as Zillow and Trulia and was listed for $10 million.
Rumors of a foreclosure came about after screenshots surfaced online showing McBroom and his wife, Catherine, had defaulted on their mortgage payments.
In addition to potentially getting the boot from their home, the family of five was also facing two additional lawsuits.
Now, it appears the chickens have come home to roost!
Simply Greatness Productions, which reportedly operates Social Gloves, sued LiveXLive, with McBroom claiming that the streaming platform is withholding funds from Social Gloves, meaning fighters can’t be paid.
LiveXLive countersued McBroom and Simple Greatness Productions for defamation, breach of contract, and fraud among other things.
LiveXLive claims the YouTuber and ‘SGP’ anticipated viewership would be 2.2 million paying audience members. The company is asking for “no less than $100 million” in damages.
Austin has yet to speak out on the ongoing lawsuits and who is to blame; however, he seems to be focusing on his family-friendly YouTube channel to bide his time.
The ACE Family YT channel recently celebrated its five-year-anniversary, and that’s all he’s been tweeting about.
Happy 5 years ACE Family!!! Can’t believe today marks us being on YouTube for 5 years. And it’s even crazier to think that so many of you have been with us since day 1. We could never thank you all enough for rocking with us through this journey called life 💙

Catherine looks to be laying low as well.
