Adele seems to have rather enjoyed her recent time stateside. Sitting courtside at the NBA finals, and cozying up with new boyfriend, Rich Paul, what’s not to like? Apparently, the “Rolling In The Deep” singer is so happy with her time in the United States that she’s looking into a Las Vegas Residency opportunity. The news has come from sources across the pond, who say they got a tip-off from some people in the Nevada desert. Yet nothing has been confirmed by Adele, her reps, or any hotel on the strip for that matter!
Where Would It Take Place?

The rumors make a lot of sense when you take into account who is actually making an offer to Adele. The new Resorts World hotel on the strip is reportedly the property that is looking to bring in the singer for an extended stay. This hotel literally just opened its doors a few days ago on the 24th of July. The property sits right in between the Trump Hotel and the Circus Circus hotel. Essentially, it’s a reimagining of the Las Vegas Hilton Hotel.

Another thing that could potentially be appealing to Adele is the amount of money that she would be making with this deal. The offer on the table is likely to pay Adele 138,000 dollars per night. She would be asked to perform for an audience of about 5 thousand people every night. Don’t expect tickets to come cheap if she decides that she does want to take up residency on the property. They would have to average around 27 dollars to be able to just cover the costs of Adele for each night. When you factor in the money that needs to go into production and the cut the Casino is likely to take, the cost per ticket is bound to go up considerably!
Why The Deal Makes Sense

The deal seems to make sense again, not only because of Rich Paul or because Adele likes the NBA! She’s been reluctant to do a lot of touring because she now has an 8-year-old son. Adele has mentioned that she’s looking for a much more stable working environment in the past. Having a chance to go work in the same place for an extended period seems like the perfect fit. A Las Vegas residency is arguably one of the most stable positions that top singers like Adele can find in show business!
What Is She Doing Now?

That’s actually a great question. Other than those appearances that we talked about in the NBA finals and being spotted with Rich Paul, nobody really knows what Adele’s doing work-wise. She hasn’t released an album in years. Of course, that may have been due to the fact that she was busy getting divorced. As we mentioned, she isn’t really keen to go on long tours anymore. The Vegas gig is one of the few ways that we could potentially see her back on stage.
