Dua Lipa has an offer shay may not be able to REFUSE!
A celebrity has offered to re-record DaBaby's track on "Levitating."
It’s been a whirlwind week for Dua and the LGBTQ community after rapper DaBaby went on a homophobic rant at Rolling Loud over the weekend in Miami, Florida.
If you didn’t know, DaBaby is featured on the British singer’s remixed version of “Levitating” from her album, “Future Nostalgia.”
The two have worked together in the past; however, Dua made it very clear she does not support what he said and that she “100% stands with the LGBTQ community.”
If you’re not caught up, The Blast has got you.
On Tuesday, July 27, we reported how DaBaby made insensitive comments about HIV/AIDs and took aim at the LGBTQ community.
During his set he said, “If you didn’t show up today with HIV, AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two or three weeks, put your cellphone light in the air. Ladies, if your p—y smell like water, put your cellphone light in the air,” he said.

Shockingly, he continued, “Fellas, if you ain’t suck a n—-’s d–k in the parking lot, put your cellphone lights in the air. Keep it f—ing real.”
He then tried to backtrack what he said and explain his side of the story, which we've covered here.
Dua took to her IG stories on Tuesday saying, “I’m surprised and horrified at DaBaby’s comments. I really don’t recognize this as the person I worked with.” She continued, “I know my fans know where my heart lies and that I stand 100% with the LGBTQ community. We need to come together to fight the stigma and ignorance around HIV/AIDS.”
Dua Responds To DaBaby
Singer Victoria Monét has graciously stepped up to help Dua get DaBaby OFF of “Levitating.”
The new mom took to Twitter and offered up this solution, “If she would like to replace Dababy’s verse on Levitating I’m totally available.”

Many of Victoria’s fans were in total support over this idea, and even went as far as to say it would cause them to pass TF out.
One fan even suggested Dua record the entire track with each verse going to al LGBTQ+ artist such as Victoria Monét, Lil Nas X, etc.
Demi Lovato showed support for Dua and the LGBTQ community on Instagram. She reposted a carousel of photos courtesy of @mattxiv and captioned it, “hot people listen to the original version of levitating.”
The photos had messages such as, “HIV is not a gay disease,” and “we need queer history taught in schools. We need HIV education taught in schools. We need to crush the stigma around what HIV/AIDS is and what it isn’t.”
Victoria’s bestie, Ariana Grande, even gave @mattxiv a double tap on his message that read, “hot people listen to the original version of levitating.”
The celebrities and fans have spoken, Dua. It’s time to get DaBaby off the track and STAT!

DaBaby seemingly got the message that what he said and did was totally wrong, despite every attempt to backpedal. He issued a statement on Tuesday evening to Twitter.
"Anybody who done ever been effected by AIDS/HIV y’all got the right to be upset, what I said was insensitive even though I have no intentions on offending anybody. So my apologies. But the LGBT community… I ain’t trippin on y’all, do you. y’all business is y’all business.”
