Has Alex Rodriguez Found Love Again with NFL Reporter?

Alex Rodriguezprobably hasn't had the year that he'd hoped to this point. At the beginning of the year, he may have thought that at some point during 2021 he'd find himself walking down the aisle with former fiancée Jennifer Lopez. The two are actually vacationing in St. Tropez this summer. However, they are doing so on different boats, literally. In the past few days, rumors have started swirling around the woman who could potentially be Alex's new GF. Although at this point both camps seem to be saying, they're just friends! The friend zone and a potential J. Lo encounter are 2 things Alex is probably looking to avoid!

Ever since Alex Rodriguez and J. Lo broke up, there has been speculation over who Rodriguez would set his sights on next. After all, if rumors are to be believed, one of the main reasons why he Jlo split was the fact that Alex was sliding into other women's DM's. That's just a rumor though, what we know for sure was that Ben Affleck was in the picture on the other side of things for a while!

Anyway, the new reported love interest that Alex Rodriguez has is “NFL on CBS” broadcaster Melanie Collins.

Collins is one of the apparently many celebs that have chosen to spend the summer in St. Tropez. From the looks of things, NFL side reporter is one of those jobs that pay quite a bit more than people realize. She potentially met Alex through mutual friends who also happen to be vacationing in France, Eric and Jessie James Decker. Eric Decker is a former NFL receiver that Collins probably met on the job. Jessie James Decker is of course a country singer. They've got the credentials, if you will, to be invited to parties on yachts in the French Riviera.

Alex Rodriguez's birthday is tomorrow, and preparations for the bash are probably underway at this point. Sources close to Rodriguez and Melanie Collins have already confirmed that the reporter is going to be present at the bash for the former slugger. The two have been spotted chatting away at other events on this French vacation. That's one of the reasons why romance rumors have flared up.

Collins has been linked to NHL player James Neal. The couple has not posted pictures together on social media for years now. Neal is also not on the celebrity French trip. Adding even more fuel to the rumors that Collins and Rodriguez hooked up!

As preparations for Alex Rodriguez's birthday bash are ongoing, there's another couple that's also on a yacht in the French Riviera. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have also been spotted in the area. They probably didn't get an invite to Rodriguez's party. It would be interesting to find out who booked the trip first. If we had to guess, we'd say, Rodriguez. It seems like he's on a celebrity vacation that could be filmed for a reality show! Maybe it's just a coincidence that the exes chose to vacation close by, or just maybe both of them are just toxic partners!
