Margot Robbie Used To Sleep With A Cardboard Cutout Of John Cena

The new "Suicide Squad" movie is coming out shortly and DC is going all out this time to make sure that this movie doesn’t flop like its predecessor did just a couple years before. For starters, they are having the cast of the movie make the rounds on late-night TV shows. The cast’s appearance on Jimmy Kimmel last night shed plenty of light on Margot Robbie’s teen years. We are not exactly sure how that’s going to help the movie at the box office. However, Harley Quinn herself shared that she once dated a guy who was a big fan of John Cena. Like a massive fan of Cena!  

Margot started out by saying that she was a big wrestling fan in her teens. This wasn’t a knock on Cena being old! At least not yet. She went on to detail though that her love for the sport kind of faded over the years. She mentioned this on her love of wrestling, 

“I watched WWE when I was growing up. When I was a kid, I loved The Undertaker. And then obviously, when I was a teenager, I stopped watching," 

The way that Margot Robbie goes on to then describe the type of boyfriend she had in her early 20’s certainly should give a lot of hope to guys out there. You can be a big fanboy of athletes or celebrities to the point where it’s cringe-worthy. Yet still, go out with a girl like Margot Robbie, what a time to be alive! Robbie said this about her former boyfriend. 

“I had a boyfriend who was obsessed with John Cena. So much so that he dressed as John Cena for his 21st birthday and had a cardboard cut-out of John Cena in his bedroom,"

Potentially to the delight of Margot Robbie’s former boyfriend watching from home. Robbie literally went on to detail what it was like sleeping with a cardboard cut out of John Cena in the room. Obviously, there were some times when waking up with a giant cardboard John Cena isn’t going to be a pleasant surprise. Robbie said, 

“Sometimes I'd wake up in the middle of the night and [gasp] and then I thought, 'Oh, it's just John Cena, it's okay,' "

If your ex is Margot Robbie, there’s a good chance that she’ll always be “the one that got away” for you. That being said, life for this Cena fanboy may not be so bad. With all that went down last night, he can be sure Robbie remembers him very well. She even went on to say that 5 minutes into her first meeting with John Cena she broke the ice by telling him the story! This lad has probably had a smile on his face for the whole day at this point.
