Paris Jackson is not backing down in her fight against the executors of her late father’s estate.

The singer and actress challenged the financial management of Michael Jackson's assets, sparking a tense legal battle that continues to unfold in Los Angeles courts.

In a new filing, she alleged that the executors mismanaged her late father’s estate, resulting in a waste of resources. This development came weeks after she was hit with a six-figure bill from the executors who demanded that she pay their legal fees.

Paris is officially pushing back against the executors of Michael’s estate, labeling their recent legal actions as a "waste of resources."

In an opposition brief filed in a Los Angeles court, her legal team argued that the estate's previous maneuvers were designed specifically to make the litigation unnecessarily “expensive and time-consuming” for her.

The conflict centers on an anti-SLAPP motion that the estate filed against Paris in November 2025. Paris had originally petitioned the court to modify the process by which executors claim legal fees from the estate.

However, the estate responded with the anti-SLAPP challenge, which the court eventually granted.

According to the new filing, the executors’ strategy was ultimately ineffective, as Paris’s original request for relief remained unchanged. Despite this lack of progress, the estate’s executors reportedly paid two law firms over $115,000 for work related to the motion, as confirmed by People Magazine.

Meanwhile, Paris’s team argued that this expenditure was self-interested and a clear misuse of estate funds that the executors had a duty to prevent.

Now, Paris is seeking to block the estate from recovering these additional attorney fees, with her legal team insisting that the entire process has been a costly delay tactic aimed at stifling her efforts to increase transparency in how the estate's money is managed.

Paris’s new filing comes weeks after she was hit with a huge bill from the estate executors for attorney fees. In January, attorneys for the estate executors submitted an itemized bill totaling $115,000, demanding that the 27-year-old beneficiary cover their legal costs.

This demand for reimbursement followed a November ruling where a Los Angeles judge granted the estate’s anti-SLAPP motion, effectively striking down several of Paris’s previous allegations.

According to The Blast, while the executors insisted that they were legally entitled to this reimbursement after their courtroom victory, Paris’s team characterized the move as a predatory "money play."

A spokesperson for the singer suggested that the executors are using every available legal tool to drain funds from the Jackson family to "line their own pockets."

The ongoing battle for transparency previously led Paris to raise questions about the overall management of the funds for her late father’s estate. In an objection filed in November, the actress expressed deep frustration over a four-year delay in receiving financial records.

She and her brothers, Prince and Bigi, reportedly only received accounting documents from 2021 in September of that year, per The Blast.

Her legal team argued that such a significant lag makes it nearly impossible to track what has actually happened to the estate’s multi-billion-dollar fortune.

Beyond the missing paperwork, Paris criticized the executors for failing to invest "enormous sums of cash" and instead pursuing "highly speculative and risky entertainment projects."

The questions Paris raised about the estate’s financial transparency were met with a significant legal hurdle in November 2025.

During that time, a petition she had filed to highlight the alleged lack of clarity in the estate's management was partially struck down by retired judge Mitchell L. Beckloff, who served as the court referee.

The Blast confirmed that the judge sided with executors Branca and McClain, granting their request to remove specific portions of Paris's legal filing.

He ruled that some of the 27-year-old singer's claims were protected under California's anti-SLAPP law because they were based on the estate's own prior court documents.

Despite this setback, Paris's legal team maintained that the ruling only addressed minor technicalities and did not resolve the core issues she had raised.

While her legal team battles for fairness in the courtroom, Paris is finding personal peace through a rare and meaningful connection with her mother.

In February, the 27-year-old artist shared a series of intimate photos on her Instagram Story, giving followers a glimpse of her life "lately." The most notable highlight was a heartwarming reunion with Debbie Rowe. In one shared selfie, the pair smiled together while wearing coordinated outfits.

This public acknowledgement of their bond is significant, given that the two were primarily estranged during Paris’s early childhood. They only began building a relationship when Paris was a teenager, eventually forming a bond that she describes as a "very chill" friendship rather than a traditional mother-daughter dynamic, per The Blast.
