Kendall Jenner Swimming In Cheeky Thong Bikini Turns Heads

Kendall Jenner may not have posted the poolside photo herself, but that hasn’t stopped fans from sharing it widely across social media. A fan account recently resurfaced an image of the supermodel relaxing at the edge of a swimming pool while wearing a black thong bikini.

In the photo, Jenner rests her arms on the pool’s edge while looking toward the camera, with her hair slicked back from the water. The image quickly began circulating among fan pages, where followers flooded the comments with reactions and compliments.

But long before viral poolside photos and trending bikini moments dominated social media, Kendall Jenner and her younger sister Kylie Jenner had already stepped into the swimwear world together.

Back in 2017, the sisters collaborated on a swimwear collection that leaned into retro-inspired styles. Speaking about the line at the time, Kylie explained that much of the inspiration came from vintage swim looks their mom used to wear.

“We were inspired by old school ’80s bathing suits like my mom used to wear,” Kylie told Vogue at the time. “My mom has the most amazing ’70s and ’80s swim collection. I’ve worn some lately, so we were really inspired by that sexy sport vibe.”

The collection featured high-cut silhouettes and throwback styles that echoed the vintage aesthetic. Kendall also noted that the flattering cuts were a big part of the appeal.

“We are loving everything high-cut because it looks amazing on all body types,” she said.

While Kendall Jenner’s bikini photos often attract praise from fans, the model has also faced criticism online in the past. In 2018, Jenner was subjected to body-shaming comments after a bikini photo of her circulated on social media. Some users left inappropriate remarks about her appearance, with several comments targeting everything from her weight to visible tan lines.

Among the remarks shared at the time were comments such as “Kendall’s feet size?” and others that mocked details of the photo such as possible Photoshopping edits or touches.

In recent years, Kendall Jenner has also been candid about the challenges she’s faced behind the scenes. During an interview with Vogue as the cover star of the publication’s Summer 2024 issue, the supermodel spoke openly about experiencing a difficult period in her personal life.

Although she said she feels “really stable” and “really hopeful” about where her career is headed, Jenner admitted that the previous couple of months had been particularly challenging. “I haven’t been myself, and my friends see it. I’m more sad than usual. I’m way more anxious than usual. So I’m not going to sit here and act like everything’s perfect. That’s life. I’m always going to be in and out of those feelings,” Jenner explained.
