Alongside the photo, the star kept the caption simple while highlighting one of the biggest perks of living in Southern California. “The weather in LA is why I stay,” she wrote.

The former "Ridiculousness" star stepped away from the long-running MTV show and made her country music debut in 2025, marking the start of a new chapter for the artist.

“‘Giddy Up’ is a country-pop record, but it's really about bridging worlds,” she told E! News. “I wanted it to feel familiar to country fans while still hitting for pop, hip-hop, and dance listeners too. It's meant to be the kind of song you put on to have a good time. Music should bring people together, and with 'Giddy Up,' I just wanted to make something that feels good no matter what genre you usually listen to.”

The track mixes a light hip-hop beat with country-inspired lyrics, giving the song an upbeat feel. The chorus even leans slightly cheeky with lines like “Giddy up / Get up on that thang” and “Tighten up on them reins.”

Chanel also reflected on her personal connection to the genre, explaining how country music has played a meaningful role in her life.

“Country music was the soundtrack to so many great summertime memories and now that I have a little one of my own,” she added. “It's so special to have this full circle moment and create new country music memories.”

Chanel West Coast also recently spoke out about the end of "Ridiculousness," the long-running clip show that helped make her a familiar face on television for more than a decade. Days after the series, hosted by Rob Dyrdek, was officially canceled by MTV, the TV personality shared her thoughts on the show’s conclusion.

Chanel, who served as a panelist on the program from 2011 to 2023, admitted she was disappointed to see the series come to an end. “It’s sad. It’s the end of an era,” she said in an interview with TMZ. “I truly felt like the world needed a show like that right now. It makes people laugh, it makes people happy and that’s what we need more of. It was not the best time for a show like that to go away.”

The series ran for more than a decade and became one of MTV’s most recognizable programs.
