Rick Harrison's son insists money does not grow on trees in his family!
Corey Harrison clarified that, despite having his father's pocket to rely on in the middle of his mounting medical bills, he intends to pay them back as his GoFundMe continues to raise funds toward his debt settlement.
Rick Harrison's son's troubles began after he got involved in a nasty motorcycle accident in Mexico earlier in the year, leaving him with multiple fractures and lengthy stays in the hospital.
Rick Harrison's Son Reveals The Family Stands Financially

Corey insisted that his father's generosity towards him is not a reflection of his financial situation, and that the ultimate plan is to find a way to replenish his father's purse after he footed almost half of his six-figure hospital bills.
The media personality added that things have changed a bit for his family in terms of their wealth because they are no longer making the kind of money they made when their "Pawn Stars" reality show was at its peak.
Corey continued that his father also has family expenses to sort out for his five other children and his new marriage, for which he missed the ceremony due to his accident.
He spoke about his father's rules regarding money and his kids, stating that he always encouraged them to earn their own money and did not hand them wads of cash as if they were entitled to it.
As shared by TMZ, Corey revealed that he was actually warned by his father to stop riding motorcycles years ago. The media personality is currently $6,000 into his $18,000 GoFundMe journey, which is planned to help him get back on his feet.
Corey Harrison's Troubles Began In Mexico
I’ve done it again and crashed a bike before my dad’s wedding twice in my life. I’ve never messed up like this before. I broke 11 ribs or 11 things in my ribs. I feel like Forrest Gump. Sorry I missed your wedding, Pops. We’ll do an episode about it on the Corey Harrison show pic.twitter.com/bbrqzwVyuu

Right after his Tulum accident, the former reality star was faced with getting treatment for his fractured ribs (11 of them), a concussion, and some facial injuries.
As noted by The Blast, Corey explained that these bouts of medical intervention gulped most of his funds so much that he had to discharge himself from the hospital earlier than expected to face the rest of his recovery at home.
While Corey continued the rest of his treatment at home with hopes to save cost, his healing backtracked, causing him to experience low oxygen and high levels of pain, which were more than what a home IV and morphine medications could cure.
Left with no choice, his friends decided to transport him to a cheaper facility in another city, where he was operated on about three times and also spent three weeks recovering.
By that time, Corey had amassed over $100,000 in debt and had just $400 in his bank account, which made it necessary for him to consult his father and friends for financial aid.
Rick Harrison's Son Accident Happened Nearly Two Years After Losing His Brother

The Harrison family has experienced really low moments in the past 24 months, including losing Corey's brother, Adam, in January 2024. A statement from the family confirmed that the businessman's son died from a drug overdose, specifically fentanyl.
The statement emphasized that Adam became a victim of the overwhelming fentanyl pandemic in the country, which is flowing over the border, while nothing is being done about it.
Rick also shared a statement on the sad passing of his son, stating that it was a sad situation for the family and they would need privacy to address the situation.
Like Corey, Adam was also part of the family's Gold & Silver pawn business before their lives became the focus of the hit reality TV show "Pawn Stars" in 2009.
The news of Adam's death was received with condolences from their friends and family, including calls from Donald Trump's sons, who have been longtime family friends with the businessman.
How Really Rich Is The 60-Year-Old?

As of March 6, 2026, the North Carolina-born business currently has a net worth of $5 million. He arrived in Las Vegas alongside his father in 1981 and operated the Gold & Silver Coin, learning the business of pawning.
Together, Rick and father carefully built their pawn empire, overcoming every obstacle in their way, such as licensing challenges, housing issues, and even a population explosion in Vegas. By 1989, they obtained a rare license and officially opened the Gold & Silver Pawn Shop near the Las Vegas strip.
According to CelebrityNetWorth, in the mid-2000s, the business exploded into a highly profitable venture, issuing about $3 million in loans annually and generating approximately $700,000 in annual interest income.
Rick ventured into the reality TV world in 2009, giving a closer look at the business and how they turn people's fortunes around through brilliant negotiation and simply buying and selling.
The success of the show improved the store's visibility and turned it into a major business attraction, while remaining the most successful show in History Channel's history to date.
The Gold & Silver Pawn Shop itself became one of the most famous pawn shops in the world, and Rick also became active in public discussions about regulation, business policy, and entrepreneurship in Nevada.
Rick Harrison Shared An Interesting View About Marriage And Prenup

The 60-year-old tied the knot with his sweetheart, Angie Polushkin, in January. Still, before the ceremony, The Blast reported that he admitted last year that his previous three marriages lacked a prenuptial agreement.
Rick and Angie began heading towards saying "I Do" after he proposed to her last March, following one year of dating. The businessman revealed during the interview that he will not be getting a prenup in his fourth marriage either because he does not believe in prenups.
He added that despite his marital challenges, he actually believes marriages should last forever, that he is happiest with Angie right now, and that they will figure everything out along the way.
Rick's most recent divorce was from his ex, Deanna Burditt, in the summer of 2020, 7 years after they tied the knot in Laguna Beach, California. The businessman claimed that they had become increasingly incompatible in the union over the years.
He was also previously married to Kim Harrison from 1982 to 1985, sharing sons Adam and Corey, and then to Tracy Harrison from 1986 to 2011, sharing a son, Jake.
