Britney Spears' arrest story continues to evolve!
It looks like there is more to the whole drama than meets the eye in the pop star's latest arrest, as information surfaces about the series of calls put through to the police station from her residence months and days prior.
Britney Spears was taken into police custody by the California Highway Patrol on the night of Wednesday, March 4, 2026, when she was spotted driving erratically on the highway, which was later discovered to be fueled by the consumption of an unknown substance.
Multiple 911 Calls Were Made From Britney Spears' Residence

New information reveals that law enforcement authorities received calls to her home 14 times in the past two years, with the most recent being logged as a trespassing in progress around midnight on October 23, 2025.
Another canceled call was also made in September 2025, which was put through for a well-being check. In August, several calls were also placed to the police, with one at the beginning of the month for a trespassing in progress and two more calls as follow-ups.
Another well-being check call was placed on July 11, and then a silent alarm call was made earlier in March 2025. Before then, cops were called in December 2024 for the case of an audible alarm, while dual well-being checks calls came through in November 2024.
As stated by Page Six, the earliest call was listed in April 2024, followed by a suspicious object call in October and another call around midnight in May 2024.
The 'Oops!...I Did It Again' Singer Allegedly Caused Chaos On The Highway

A 911 audio from the scene of the arrest stated that Spears was driving rather carelessly on the highway as she swerved in and out of lanes, paying little mind to traffic rules.
As stated by The Blast, her action prompted an officer to request for backup and send all units to the area while updating responders that the driver of the car had stepped out of the vehicle to talk.
The singer was reportedly taken to the hospital for some tests after she left jail to determine her blood concentration. Before then, a field sobriety test was reportedly conducted, although no report has been heard about the outcome of the sobriety test.
Luckily, the actress was reported to be alone and uninjured when she was apprehended. She also confessed to those close to her that she did not exceed nor even reach the alcohol limit of .08 in California.
Britney Spears' Manager Promised To Take Stern Steps In Addressing Her Latest Behavior

The 44-year-old's high-profile arrest absolutely caught the attention of her loved ones, including her manager Cade Hudson, who emphasized in his statement that the incident leading to her arrest could have been prevented.
He assured that his client would take important steps to ensure that her whole behavior and conduct get a positive overhaul while duly complying with the tenets of the law. In his words: "Hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life."
Hudson added that the singer would not deal with her issues alone, as she has the support of her sons and family to bank on. Spears was arrested on March 4, 2026, and taken into custody around 3 a.m. on Thursday, before getting released in the early hours of the morning on Thursday, March 5.
The Singer's Behavior Was Linked To Her Ex-Husband's Latest Memoir

The musician's downward spiral episode reportedly started after her former partner released his memoir and admitted some truths about her behavior in the past.
Sources close to the singer noted that the revelations in the book really sent her over the edge as she felt she gave all to her marriage with Federline, but he took advantage of her loyalty.
"He used her; he wanted to ruin her. And that was a really hard pill to swallow; it absolutely killed her that someone would want to damage her so much," the source added.
Federline made several damning claims against Spears in the memoir, including allegations that she used cocaine while breastfeeding and also drank alcohol while she was pregnant.
Spears and Federline finalized their divorce in 2007, three years after they tied the knot in 2004. They subsequently welcomed two boys, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Britney Spears' Decision To Sell Off Music Catalog Tagged As A Wise Business Decision

Spears ended 2025 with a big sale of her music catalog, containing hit tracks from her career over the years. As noted by The Blast, the rumored $200 million sale became an option for the musician due to her heavy spending habits.
The actress offloaded her musical catalog to the Primary Wave publishing company under the realization that her once-thriving musical career may now be over. According to a source:
"Everyone has to be realistic with Britney's future, including herself, so selling her catalog was wise because she isn't going to get back into music."
The actress has also not toured in years, nor has she released any full-length studio album for about a decade now, which means she has limited streams of income, like her perfume line and her book.
Another source added that the actress may also not consider doing residency in Vegas anymore, as she is reportedly not ready to work that hard.
