Britney Spears reportedly fired her sobriety coaches and other staff who were looking out for her just days before she was arrested for driving under the influence.
The "Toxic" singer's family has expressed concern for her as her manager says she's "going to take the right steps" in a bid to turn a new leaf.
Reports also claim Britney Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline's memoir, in which he shared disturbing claims about her, sent her into a "downward" spiral.
Britney Spears Fired Her Sober Coaches Before She Was Busted For DUI

Britney Spears has been in the news following her Wednesday night arrest for driving under the influence.
Reports claim the incident followed her decision to dismiss her professional coaches and support staff just a few days before.
According to TMZ, sources close to her explained that she fired them after signing a deal to sell the rights to her music and after she returned home to California following a trip to Los Cabos, Mexico.
She also let go of some other staff who looked out for her, including her security guards.
The incident follows multiple episodes that left fans suspecting Spears has been drinking, as she often took to social media to share videos where she's dancing and acting erratically.
The Singer Was Swerving 'In And Out' Of Lanes

Spears was arrested near her home in Ventura County, California, around 9:30 pm that evening and was booked into the Ventura County jail at about 3:00 am on Thursday morning. She was released a few hours later and will appear in court on May 4.
A dispatch audio that captured moments before Spears's arrest revealed that she was swerving "in and out" of lanes in her black BMW car, per Page Six.
"Black BMW sedan in and out of lanes… speeding," an officer over the dispatch described the situation. "2026 convertible out of LA."
"Can we send all units down towards this area, please?" the officer said in the audio, as authorities were heard following the vehicle and detailing the exact location.
The officer then updated the units, noting that "this is a 2026 black BMW convertible," with a cop saying he has pulled the BMW over.
"Talking with the driver," another officer said. "Driver is out of the vehicle."

According to the news outlet, authorities then requested a DRE, which is an officer qualified to identify a driver who's impaired.
Moments later, they requested an 11-85, which is police code for vehicle towing.
TMZ reports that she was taken to the hospital after her arrest and had her blood alcohol content checked.
She has reportedly been "telling people [her BAC] was .06," which is lower than California's limit of .08 percent.
The Singer's Family Is Taking Her Arrest Seriously

Spears has exhibited several troubling acts in the past and had a very public mental health breakdown that caused her father, James Spears, to petition for a conservatorship in 2008. All throughout the conservatorship, he had control of her finances and made medical decisions on her behalf.
According to US Weekly, a family source expressed concern for her and expressed hopes that her recent arrest serves as a "wake-up call" for her to put her acts together.
"I hope this is a wake-up call for her," the source said.
A rep for the singer shared that they're taking her arrest seriously and have started putting measures in place to curtail her excesses.
"This was an unfortunate incident that is completely inexcusable," the rep noted. "Britney is going to take the right steps and comply with the law, and hopefully this can be the first step in a long-overdue change that needs to occur in Britney's life. Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time."
Kevin Federline's Book May Have Sent Britney Spears Into A 'Downward' Spiral

Reports claim that Spears's ex-husband, Kevin Federline's memoir, "You Thought You Knew," sent her into a "downward" spiral that ultimately culminated in her arrest.
"But the truth is, this has been going on for a while," a source told Page Six. "Her behavior has become increasingly erratic in recent months. She goes from being fine to being not."
The insider continued, "It was the Kevin book that really sent her over the edge, and it's been downhill from there. It really impacted her emotionally."
In the book released late last year, the former backup dancer made several concerning allegations against her and expressed concern for her "survival." He accused her of using drugs while breastfeeding and holding a knife while watching their sons sleep. He also claimed she had substance abuse issues during pregnancy and that her behavior was concerning.
The insider who spoke to the news outlet said that Spears "feels like she gave Kevin everything that he wanted over the years" and "paid him so much money," but he still "exploited her" with his memoir.
"He used her; he wanted to ruin her," the insider said. "And that was a really hard pill to swallow; it absolutely killed her that someone would want to damage her so much."
