Britney Spears is all over the news right now as her recent arrest makes headlines. The 44-year-old singer, who has been released from custody, is now expected to appear at Ventura County Superior Court on 4 May, following her arrest for a D.U.I. on Wednesday. Britney, who made headlines in 2007 for a hit-and-run arrest, was stopped by the California Highway Patrol at 9.30 p.m. on Wednesday evening, with the Ventura County Sheriff's Office confirming why she wound up in jail. The pop princess's legal problems were the main talking point for about 24 hours, but now that she's deleted her Instagram, her old content is in the news.

Britney Spears' Deleted IG Video Goes Viral After Arrest

Britney had uploaded the video in late February as she delivered more home moves for her army of followers, shaking her stuff in a plunging, lacy look that showed off her strong legs and killer curves.

Shortly after Britney's arrest, The Daily Mail published moments from the now-erased video, mentioning her "nip slip" as it covered her latest legal mess. "Sadly, I think there is only going to be one outcome," one fan replied. Chances are, the user meant that Spears would once again wind up under conservatorship, something she was finally freed from back in 2021.

911 dispatch has released audio from the incident leading to Britney's arrest.

"A black sedan, erratic braking, swerving, and driving with no tail light," an officer's voice is heard saying, with another adding: "Can we send all units down towards this area please." Recordings also revealed an officer requesting a Drug Recognition Expert to be sent to the scene.

Britney Speaks Out After Arrest

Britney Spears herself has made no public statement, but [a] friend and former personal assistant, Sean Phillips, spoke to Good Morning Britain on Friday.

‘All I texted her was: 'Are you OK' and she just said 'I’m OK.' I then asked if I could speak about this, and she said, 'Go ahead.'

Continuing, Sean added, "She is such a great person, and we all make mistakes. I makes me feel bad when she suffers such public mistakes. I want the world to know she's a great person...We all make mistakes."
