Julian Reese Supported His Sister Angel In A Major Way

Julian also found a way to support his sister during his NBA debut. As seen on social media, the NBA player sported a pair of Angel's signature basketball sneaker with Reebok, the "AR1."

Julian wore a pair of the icy Diamond Dust colorway, which first hit retailers on September 18, 2025, according to The Blast. The first edition of Angel's sneakerline comes jam-packed with elite performance technology, including an exoskeleton upper, the company's signature Energy Return System (ERS), and a TPU stability cup for top-grade traction and grip.

"Reebok and I built something that's true to who I am, and I hope it pushed others to stand in their power, too," Angel said. "At the end of the day, it's built for basketball — made to move and perform at the highest level."

The success of the first drop surely powered the upcoming SS26 launch, which will feature four new colorways: Rose Dust, Unapolgetically Angel, Gala Green, and Navy Halo, per The Blast.

"I’ve always believed your style should match your mindset," she said. "Coming back to the court in these new Angel Reese 1 colorways feels powerful–each one built with intention and made to stand out."

Before sitting courtside at the Wizards game, Angel made her grand return to Unrivaled Basketball after initially opting out of the second season.

"It feels really good to be back," she said in a post-game interview. "Being in a healthy environment where fans just love basketball feels really good."

"I'm happy to be here," she added. "Unrivaled has done a great job being able to bring out fans that really support each player."

During her first season, Angel put up impressive numbers, recording the league's first-ever 20-20 performance and becoming the league's inaugural Defensive Player of the Year.

Her dominance last season was, of course, part of the reason Angel's ROSE BC teammates wanted her back.

"Literally, I was in Australia, and they were like ‘You want to come back?'" Angel revealed. "I was like, ‘Alright.’ Literally, I was on the beach last week, and now I’m here."
