Brooklyn Beckham's Parents Put Drama Aside For His 27th Birthday

David and Victoria Beckham want Brooklyn Beckham to know that their love for him hasn't dwindled despite their estrangement.

The famous couple may no longer be on speaking terms with the oldest of their four children; however, that did not stop them from publicly celebrating his 27th birthday.

Rumors of a rift between David and Victoria Beckham and Brooklyn began swirling following his 2022 wedding to Nicola Peltz. The tension between them reached an all-time high earlier this year when their son dropped a scathing post.

On Wednesday, March 4, David and Victoria celebrated the day they became parents for the first time. They took a walk down memory lane on their respective Instagram Stories, marking Brooklyn's 27th birthday with their love. 

David shared two throwback pictures, with the first capturing him and his wife in a swimming pool. A young Brooklyn was wedged between them, flashing a bright smile at the camera. "27 today [face holding back tears emoji] Happy Birthday Bust [white heart emoji] We love you x," David wrote.

The former professional footballer echoed similar sentiments in his second post, which featured a black-and-white picture of David and Brooklyn.

Victoria reposted the same swimming pool picture and a shot of playing with Brooklyn as a baby. "Happy 27th birthday, Brooklyn. I love you so much," she penned with a string of red heart emojis.

David and Victoria's birthday wishes seemed to signal their desire to reconcile with Brooklyn, a move one of their sons made in February. The Blast covered the story, reporting that Cruz Beckham had attempted to stir his older brother's emotions with a throwback post.

Cruz had updated his Instagram page with a black-and-white image from his childhood. The picture showed Brooklyn holding Cruz and Romeo in his arms, with the trio beaming brightly at the camera, a reflection of the time they were united as a family.

Another shot captured the three brothers with their younger sister, Harper, all dressed in beekeeping outfits with a white beehive in the background. Victoria approved Cruz's post by dropping a string of heart emojis.

The drama within the Beckham family prompted some of their celebrity pals to speak out in favor of David and Victoria. The Blast reported in February that chef Gordon Ramsay was among those who supported the couple as good parents while seemingly painting Brooklyn as the problem.

Following his comments, Brooklyn appeared to take offense and reportedly unfollowed the chef's eldest daughter, Holly, and blocked her twin brother, Jack, on social media. A source alleged that Brooklyn's dynamic with the Ramsay siblings changed after his marriage.

"Brooklyn doesn't appear to see many of his friends he hung out with before Nicola anymore, and that is very sad," the source claimed. They added that Brooklyn had grown up with a great relationship with the Ramsay family, and it was "a great shame" that he no longer did.

Gordon wasn't the only celebrity to weigh in on the Beckham's family drama as singer Marc Anthony and Hip-Hop icon Snoop Dogg also shared their thoughts. The Blast shared that Anthony avoided taking sides, noting he had nothing to say about the dispute.

However, he praised the Beckhams as "a wonderful, wonderful family" and noted that it was "extremely unfortunate how it's playing out – but [how it's playing out] is hardly the truth." Snoop Dogg echoed similar sentiments, raving about his years-long friendship with David.

"We have seen each other's kids grow up, and one thing about David is that he is a family man," Snoop Dogg said, per The Blast. He added that no family was perfect, but the Beckhams had great love for each other and would overcome their differences with time.

The tension within the Beckham family escalated in January when Brooklyn called out his famous parents in a scathing post. The Blast shared that he slammed David and Victoria on his Instagram Story, claiming his problems with them started long before his wedding.

Brooklyn alleged that his parents had been falsely portraying the Beckhams as a happy family for years and often protected their image at the expense of innocent people. In this case, his wife was the target of David and Victoria's efforts to maintain their perfect personas in the media.

Brooklyn accused his parents of trying to undermine his relationship with Peltz, claiming Victoria canceled the order for his wife's dress at the last minute. He also alleged that his parents pressured him into relinquishing the legal rights to his name ahead of the wedding.
