Odom's appearance in the "Untold" documentary comes just weeks after the former Los Angeles Lakers star was arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to The Blast.

The 46-year-old was booked in the early hours of January 17, 2026, and was cited for two traffic violations, including driving 41 MPH over the limit and improper lane change/failure to maintain lane.

The "Khloé & Lamar" TV personality was previously arrested on the same charge in 2013. "Untold" isn't the first time Odom has sat down in front of cameras to share his story.

In a previous interview with PEOPLE, Odom discussed his role in a previous docuseries and said he was eager to share his story with the public, hoping it would "inspire" change in someone else.

"I'm actually happy to share [the things I've been through] with people to inspire them," he said. "I get the same kind of feeling when people come up to me and say 'Lamar you are an incredible basketball player.' It's the same feeling when people come up to me about adversities I've gone through, such as drugs. I've overcome many battles and they can relate to it and it inspires them. So, I feel good about sharing my life and moments I might not have been so proud of at the time."
