Savannah Chrisley nearly found herself at odds with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The "Chrisley Knows Best" alum got called out by the FDA over the statements used on her GoodGirlRX website.
Savannah Chrisley launched GoodGirlRx in partnership with Verb Technology Company to offer prescription weight loss drugs and more healthcare options for women.
Savannah Chrisley Received A Warning Letter From The FDA

According to new reports, the FDA sent a warning letter to Savannah in February over the use of its name on her website. The federal agency took offense at the phrases "FDA-approved meds," "FDA-approved options," and "clinically proven GLP-1 results."
The FDA warned Savannah that she violated federal law for implying that the semaglutide and tirzepatide products from her GoodGirlRX company were FDA-approved. The letter stressed that her products have not been "evaluated for safety and effectiveness."
The letter obtained by TMZ added that Savannah had 15 business days to make corrections or face legal action. She took the warning seriously and promptly made changes to the statements promoting her weight loss drugs on her website.

The FDA statements on Savannah's website have since been changed to read "clinically studied results" instead of "clinically proven." She also added disclaimers that her GLP-1 drugs are not FDA-approved. Despite not having the federal agency's approval, Savannah argued that her products were safe.
"This was about website wording, not patient safety. There were no fines and no disciplinary action," Savannah told the outlet. "We're proud to help women access licensed physicians, and we welcome the FDA's guidance."
Savannah opened up about why she started GoodGirlRX in January, sharing on Instagram that she wanted to help women struggling with their health. She claimed the brand was born out of her own struggles with "endometriosis, hormonal imbalance, pre diabetic markers, stress, burnout," and more.

Last November, The Blast reported that Savannah had opened up about her desire to lose weight on an episode of her "Unlocked" podcast. She shared her dream physique goals in a conversation with her mother, Julie Chrisley, revealing her weight struggles.
According to Savannah, her weight was always fluctuating, but she planned on controlling it with weight loss injections. She explained that she wasn't consistent with the medication because of her love for food; however, she hoped to be "pretty thin" with the drug.
"I don't like it when I put on a pair of jeans that don't fit. … I've got to lose some lbs," Savannah shared. She also revealed that she had gotten liposuction to control her weight, claiming she gained about 40 pounds after taking a drug to help with her endometriosis.

Besides her weight loss struggles, Savannah faced more challenges due to her relationship with Donald Trump. She appeared as a guest panelist on "The View" in February, where she clashed with the other co-hosts over the president's alleged racism.
The Blast covered the story, reporting that Savannah had insistently claimed Trump was not racist. She argued that she had met the president in person and noted he had saved the life of a Black woman who stayed by his side for over a decade.
However, panelists like Whoopi Goldberg and Sunny Hostin shut down Savannah's claims, pointing out that Trump's actions were indeed racist. Some fans echoed similar sentiments on X, speculating that Savannah was probably auditioning for a role in the White House.

Savannah's actions on "The View" come months after she claimed Trump hadn't bought her allegiance with his presidential pardon. The Blast shared her claims in August 2025, reporting that Savannah argued that she wouldn't unquestioningly support the president.
Savannah had been full of praise for Trump after he granted her parents presidential pardons for bank fraud and tax evasion charges. She argued that Trump did so of his own free will, and there was no speculated deal behind closed doors to earn Todd and Julie their freedom.
Since Trump willingly granted her parents their freedom, Savannah claimed she would not compromise her belief to support the president. "I have goals to challenge the administration on certain things that they are doing that I may not agree with," she declared.
