BetMGM’s Secret Court At Bellagio In Las Vegas Is March’s Ultimate Plot Twist

Speakeasy vibes. A hidden custom court. The Cavinder twins going head-to-head. March Madness takes on a whole new vibe this year in the "Entertainment Capital of the World."

Inside one of Las Vegas’ most iconic resorts, BetMGM is flipping March on its head with the Court of Legends, an invite-only, influencer packed showdown blending hoops, high stakes, and Sin City spectacle like no other.

From VIP creators to a sister-vs-sister skills battle between Haley and Hanna Cavinder, that will be streamed nationwide, this isn’t just basketball, it’s a behind-the-curtain Vegas moment built to be legendary and memorable. The fun takes place during the final weekend of March Matchups, April 4 to 6, 2026.

This never done before activation will wow March Madness enthusiasts. BetMGM CMO Casey Hurbis shared some insight into the excitement exclusively with The Blast. 

“The Court of Legends was inspired by BetMGM’s ambition to create a never-been-done-before moment for March Matchups - something that captures the excitement of March while delivering an experience only BetMGM could pull off,” Hurbis shared. “Our challenge was simple: Find the bold answer, because if it’s easy, everyone would do it.”

They collaborated with “leading independent ad agency Highdive” to build the custom basketball court inside a hidden location within Bellagio. 

“What makes it unique is the way multiple elements come together in one environment: a custom, speakeasy-style court; VIPs, influencers, creators, and contest winners rubbing shoulders around the action; and a weekend of exclusive programming that culminates in a showdown between two prominent influencers - Haley and Hanna Cavinder - streamed for fans everywhere to experience,” he continued. 

When asked how the idea of a speakeasy-style basketball court was born and why this approach was ultimately chosen, Hurbis shared some insight into the experience.

"The speakeasy concept for the Court of Legends gave us a way to create an intentionally intimate, behind-the-curtain environment - a moment that feels premium and undeniably Vegas," Hurbis said. "Our connection to MGM Resorts is what makes this possible with access to iconic properties like Bellagio and the ability to build experiences that no other sportsbook can replicate."

When guests step into the speakeasy-style space that's hidden inside Bellagio, they'll find a custom-built immersive basketball court.

"Inside, they'll experience exclusive events, influencer-driven exhibitions, and the Cavinder-versus-Cavinder skills showdown - all crafted to blend basketball, entertainment, and the energy of Las Vegas," he said. "And while the on-site experience is intentionally experienced by few, the showdown April 5 will be live streamed on X, YouTube, and the BetMGM app so fans all over can tune in to the action."

Hurbis added that the information about the activation given so far has only been a part of what will be revealed as it gets closer to Championship Weekend.

Haley and Hanna Cavinder, former Division I basketball players and social media influencers, have built "one of the most influential personal brands among former college athletes."

"They're ability to thrive in a digital-first environment aligns perfectly with BetMGM's shift toward talent who not only reach large audiences but drive the kind of engagement that turns followers into active brand loyalists," Hurbis shared.

"The Cavinder's sister-versus-sister dynamic also adds built-in rivalry, suspense, and drama - all core elements of the Court of Legends," he said. "And for the first time ever, these sisters, best friends and teammates will compete against each other on a national stage."

According to a press release sent to The Blast, the Cavinder twins shared a joint statement, "We've played on a lot of courts over the years, but nothing like the Court of Legends. BetMGM is bringing together VIPs, creators, and all the vibes in one place, and we're excited to step on that floor, compete, and have fun."

When asked how this experience ties into the excitement of March Madness and BetMGM's brand identity, Hurbis said the activation was "built to amplify everything fans already love about March" including the "unscripted drama, buzzer-beaters, upsets, and the emergence of new legends."

"The activation turns the emotional intensity of March hoops into a physical, cinematic environment," he continued. "It also reinforces BetMGM's brand identity, uniting spots, entertainment, and the strength of our Las Vegas ecosystem to make legendary, beyond-the-game experiences."

The Court of Legends intertwines many forms of engagement into one promotion, with a chance to win a trip to Vegas, as well as on-site programming and creator driven exhibitions.

Now through Sunday, March 15, 2026, players can enter the Court of Legends Leaderboard promo for a chance to win a VIP trip to Las Vegas for Championship Weekend. Twenty-five winners will each receive a grand prize package that includes four tickets to the Sunday, April 5 Court of Legends event, a three-night-stay at MGM Grand, $2,000 in withdrawable bonus dollars for travel, and $500 in MGM Resorts credit for use throughout MGM Grand.

How do you enter to win? Official rules state: "Opt in to the Court of Legends Leaderboard through the Promotions section of the BetMGM app. Place qualifying wagers of at least $10 with minimum +100 odds on any sports betting market. Earn leaderboard points based on each wager's odds and outcome - longer odds-on winning bets earn more points."
