Kate Upton In Plunging Glitter Bikini Told She's 'Pretty But Not Hot'

Kate Upton is stunning in runway throwbacks as she flaunts her bombshell bikini body and winds up with not-so-nice comments. The Sports Illustrated Swim star highlighted her famous figure during Miami Swim Week back in 2012, but with a repost made on X just this week, she proved she's got staying power. Kate, who made 2024 headlines for fronting SI Swim amid its 60th anniversary, was just starting out when these photos were taken. Fans, who did send love, also suggested that Kate is "pretty," but doesn't fall into the "hot category."

Displaying her curves with confidence while flashing her abs, the mom of one strutted down the catwalk in skimpy bottoms, going low-rise and with cut-outs boasting diamante details in gold and silver.

Going jazzy with the same sparkly accents up top as she braved a very plunging neckline, Kate wowed in chunky platform heels, accessorizing her look further with snaking body chains. Looking fierce with her red nails as she wore bold red lipstick, Kate wowed with her fluffy blonde hair worn down, adding a heavy layer of makeup to accentuate her features.

"KATE UPTON... OH LORD," one user wrote. "Sheer perfection," one user wrote. Another, however, wasn't so sure. "Never understood the hype on her. Pretty but not hot," they said. Fortunately for Kate, most fans seem to agree with the former user. The stunner became a swimwear icon with her SI Swim debut back in 2011, and it's been uphill for her ever since.

Kate Upton was all over the news in May 2024 as she slipped into this striped bikini for her SI Swim cover. Making a bombshell return to the magazine that made her famous, the wife to Justin Verlander stunned in pink and red, going eye-popping with a low neckline while rocking ruffly accents on her bottoms.

Speaking to the iconic magazine about prepping Kate Upton for her big shoot, trainer Ben Bruno revealed:

"Training-wise, she pushes herself very hard, but she’s also great about listening to her body and not overdoing it. She likes to lift heavy weights (hates anything over 6 reps haha) and that’s what we do most of the time," adding that the two "also do some cardio work" that includes HIIT.
