Cher's son, Elijah Blue Allman's weekend, did not start on an encouraging note!
The singer's offspring's unauthorized presence in a school premise was escalated to the cops on the evening of Friday, Feb. 27, 2026, leading to his eventual arrest on three charges of criminal offenses.
Cher's son was hospitalized last year after reportedly overdosing in Southern California, with sources revealing that he escaped death by a slim chance after the encounter.
Cher's Son Was Arrested For Trespassing In A Prep School

Allman was taken into custody on trespassing charges at an exclusive prep school located in Concord, New Hampshire. According to reports from the Concord Police Department, officers headed to St. Paul's School after they were informed about the presence of an unwanted guest on Friday evening.
Allman reportedly arrived at the venue a few minutes before 7 p.m. and headed straight to the dining hall, creating public disturbance and reportedly acting "belligerently."
The singer's son was then booked into the Merrimack County Jail, earning two counts of simple assault and one count each of criminal trespass, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct.
According to TMZ, Allman was processed and released on personal recognizance, which means he did not need to pay bail. He will, however, receive a possible arraignment date in the future.
Elijah Blue Allman Narrowly Escaped Death Last Year

The American musician was discovered obliterated from the effects of drug usage last June and was only saved from dying by a last-minute rush to the hospital. As noted by The Blast, the specific substance consumed remained unknown, but the person was tagged lucky to be alive.
The event left Cher very concerned as sources close to the situation noted that just like any mother, her priority was to focus on his health, which includes getting him all the help he needs to get back up.
Allman's overdose episodes came two years after Cher filed a conservatorship over him, stating that his severe mental health issues and substance abuse left him substantially unable to manage his own financial resources.
Cher's Son's Overdose Coincided With Father's Day Celebrations

Sources close to the musician clarified that he did not just spontaneously overdose, but it happened due to the undertones of Father's Day celebration carried. The insider claimed that the special day struck a chord in the musician's heart as he never fully got over the loss of his father and music icon, Gregg Allman.
A source raved about the level of connection between the father and son, sharing that he carried so much love and trust for Gregg, more than any other person in his life.
There are also painful parallels between the father and son, such as their battle with addiction. Gregg remained a musical icon despite his personal demons, giving the world hit songs such as "Laid Back" and "I'm No Angel."
He sadly passed away from liver cancer in 2017 at the age of 69, leaving behind a legacy and an iconic career.
The 49-Year-Old Opened Up About His Battle With Lyme Disease

Allman, who once credited heroin for pulling him out of a dark place, confessed in 2014 that he was diagnosed with Lyme Disease, and his situation has proven to be darker than his struggle with drug abuse.
The Blast shared that it was during his journey for a solution via medical treatment in Germany that he met his estranged wife, Marieangela King. In her words:
"This then makes you look back at this hideous ordeal that you went through that would lead you to meeting the love of your life, and this is how crazy life is."
Unfortunately, in 2023, King and Cher got in a media war over an alleged move from the musical legend to orchestrate a shocking kidnapping of Allman from his hotel room in New York while she and the singer were in the middle of rekindling their broken marriage.
King claimed that the planned removal was reportedly done on the basis that Cher would want her son to get proper care. On April 8, 2025, King filed a new petition, stating irreconcilable differences over one year after Allman dismissed their initial filing, claiming that they were reconciling.
Cher Was Accused Of Breaking Her Son's Marriage

Last April, in the heat of King's separation from Allman, she slammed his mother for fueling the flames of chaos in their marriage. King expressed that Cher's presence in their lives and home became unbearable, and she had to find an exit.
King and Cher have reportedly had trouble brewing between them for years since she failed to congratulate them on their engagement in 2013. Since then, several mentions have been made concerning their tense relationship, and at some point, Allman described it as a mere clash between women with two strong personalities.
"You've got two strong women, two big bulls in the pen. I think there's a respect, and I think they butt heads a little," he declared at the time.
What fate awaits Cher's son as regards an arraignment?
