Shia LaBeouf's Mardi Gras Troubles Take Another Turn

The consequences of Shia LaBeouf's recent brawl continue to haunt him.

It is looking like the actor bit more than he can chew with his Mardi Gras episode on February 17, 2026, as a new arrest warrant just dropped, linking him to another victim at the site.

Shia LaBeouf has experienced a few consequences of his allegedly erratic behaviors, and aside from the expected arrests, he also lost his relationship with his ex, Mia Goth.

The actor reportedly has a warrant with his name on it by authorities in New Orleans in connection with his big fight in front of the bar on Mardi Gras morning.

The warrant was reportedly issued on Friday and features another victim from the fight involving LaBeouf at R Bar in the French Quarter. LaBeouf was captured getting physical with at least two people outside the bar, before he was subsequently manhandled by a group of four men in later clips.

The actor was then arrested based on two counts of simple battery. When he was released from custody, TMZ noted that he found his way back to Bourbon Street to celebrate Mardi Gras and reportedly show off his release papers at the party.

During LaBeouf's arrest in front of the bar, he went on a rampage with the cops, where he spilled some homophobic words and the F-word. As shared by The Blast, when his case was put before the judge, he was reportedly chastised for letting out such utterances and thereby threatening the safety of a marginalised community.

One of the victims had explained to the law enforcement agent that LaBeouf yelled gay slurs at him during the street encounter, using the f-word more than once and saying, "These f-ggots put me in jail. I'm a Catholic."

The judge then ordered LaBeouf to make himself available for weekly drug tests after an initial drug test at the station showed that he was positive for something in his system. His bail was then set at $100,000 with a stern warning that he will get drug and alcohol treatments after he leaves the premises.

In the media personality's mugshot after his arrest, he posed with a scruffy look with a rough beard and hair. Following his release, the actor immediately dashed to the barber shop to trim his overgrown hair, and the result was beyond dashing.

LaBeouf was spotted rocking his new look in a pair of cropped joggers, a red plaid fleece jacket, which he wore over a dark hoodie as he exited the barber shop. The movie star was also taken to the nearest hospital after his release because he had sustained some injuries during the fight.

The actor was even spotted heading out to church to observe Ash Wednesday, but he could not go in because the two churches were closed when he arrived.

As reported by The Blast, LaBeouf's freedom from custody did cost him his bubbly personality, according to eyewitnesses who saw him on Bourbon Street in the company of his bodyguards and entourage.

"He seemed sad, lost, and in a dark space. He seemed empty. Not agitated, but tired, like he had a long day," Adam Araiza, a New Orleans-based music artist who goes by the stage name Lil Unda, exclaimed.

Araiza noted that even when he attempted to approach the actor, he had to reconsider due to the actor's distant body language. He revealed that his response was short, and he took solace in a Jesus Saves sign as the night went on, observing the crowd before he approached him.

The music artist noted that LaBeouf looked very lonely and in need of a good friend and support system through the night.

Insider claimed that LaBeouf's situation may be linked to the fact that his marriage hit the rocks about five months ago. The source noted that the actress made the decision herself because she was done with erratic behaviors, and they started getting into unnecessary fights.

The inside continued that, as it stands, it does not look like the couple would ever come back together, and the split did not happen overnight; instead, it took months of tension and long-term strain.

"Shia is not the easiest person to be with. He is a very intense individual, very opinionated, and goes to the beat of his own drum," another source revealed about his personality, adding that his friends have a hard time hanging around him.

Goth and LaBeouf tied the knot in 2016, three years after they met on the set of "Nymphomaniac." They unfortunately got divorced in 2018, but reconciled two years later and welcomed their daughter, Isabel, in March 2022.
