Hailey Bieber’s dragonfly editorial is going viral. The striking metallic portrait making the rounds online is from Vogue Australia’s March issue, with styling by editor-in-chief Christine Centenera and photography by the legendary duo Luigi & Iango. The shoot, which features art direction by Arquié Cooke and a full creative team including Bryce Scarlett on hair and Mary Phillips on makeup, leans into sculptural minimalism and emotional nuance, two things Hailey Bieber has quietly mastered.

Hailey Bieber Heats Up Timeline In Barely-There Metallic Top

In the now-viral image, Bieber wears a sculptural dragonfly piece stretched across her torso, paired with sleek black trousers. Her hair falls in loose, undone waves, and her makeup remains soft, nothing overpowering. And that balance feels especially meaningful given what Bieber shared in the accompanying interview.

Bieber Hopes People See Her ‘Softness And Sensitivity’

During a conversation with longtime friend Kendall Jenner, who interviewed her for the issue, Bieber was asked, “What do you hope people will understand about you five years from now that they don’t understand today?”

Her response was candid. "If I had to have one wish, it would be [people see] my softness and my sensitivity,” she said. “I think it’s something I don’t really expose because it’s a vulnerable thing to show your weakness and vulnerability."

She continued, "I’m always trying to come from a place of love, understanding and sweetness as much as I can, and I wish people understood my character a lot more. I think it’s hard to try to have people understand you at all when they don’t want to, but I wish people would be able to just, maybe, see my vulnerability and my humanness more.”

Hailey Bieber Says Great Skin ‘Doesn’t Take Much’ After Years In The Beauty Chair

Bieber’s focus on simplicity isn’t new. In last year’s Vogue cover story, the Rhode founder also reflected on what she’s learned after years in the beauty chair working with some of the industry’s top makeup artists, facialists, and estheticians.

“I think from having worked with so many different makeup artists and trying different facialists, estheticians, all these different people,” she said at the time. “I realized that it doesn’t take much for you to have a good routine, and it doesn’t take much for skin care to be great.”

Bieber Gets Real About The Mental Shift Of Motherhood

That same honesty about growth and change carried into one of the biggest chapters of her life. Opening up about becoming a mother, Hailey admitted the experience wasn’t something she immediately felt prepared for.

“The pregnancy was difficult for me to wrap my head around. It was a surprise, and you go through a lot of emotions,” she shared with Vogue. “There are certain warnings: Your life is never going to be the same again. It changes in good ways, but it’s not going to be the same. You’re never going to be just an individual without a child ever again. And you’re not going to just be you and your partner, just the two of you. There was a lot for me mentally.”

For Bieber, the shift wasn’t just physical. Instead, it was deeply psychological. “It’s the unexpected that scares her,” she explained, noting that from the very first moments, motherhood brought a wave of unknowns.

Hailey Bieber Says Motherhood Gave Her ‘Ease’ And A New Level Of Confidence

Reflecting on this new chapter, Hailey admitted she feels more grounded in herself than ever before. “I like who I am so much more than I ever have,” she said.

Strength, she explained, is the word that keeps surfacing. Motherhood hasn’t just shifted her priorities, but it’s reshaped her perspective. “There’s an ease that comes with it, a confidence,” she shared. “You really start to give less of a f-ck about so many things. You’re just like, I don’t have the time, actually. I don’t have the energy.”
