Posing against a plain white wall with sunlight casting sharp shadows across her figure, Epstein rocked a barely-there black string bikini that left little to the imagination.

With one arm stretched above her head and her body angled to the side, she showed off her sculpted physique in the minimal two-piece. Her hair was pulled back into a sleek ponytail, keeping the focus on the styling of the shoot. “Casual?? Does any part of River’s aura look casual to you??” she captioned the post.

Epstein Swears By The 80/20 Rule For Balance

Of course, Epstein’s toned physique didn’t happen by accident, but she’s been clear that her approach isn’t about extremes. In a past interview, the model opened up about her diet philosophy, revealing that she follows the 80/20 rule when it comes to maintaining balance.

“I try and follow the 80/20 rule, which is my approach to maintaining a healthy lifestyle rather than a diet philosophy,” she explained. “It’s pretty simple, I try and eat well 80% of the time, and then 20% of the time I let myself enjoy a bit of indulgence.”

For Epstein, it’s less about restriction and more about sustainability, telling the outlet, “It isn’t about counting calories, denying myself certain foods or cutting out entire food groups, and allows me to enjoy life without feeling guilty about breaking my ‘diet.’”

Gabby Epstein Mixes Pilates, Boxing, And Quick Circuits To Stay Fit On The Go

And when it comes to staying in shape, Epstein keeps things just as balanced. Given how often she travels, the model admitted she doesn’t stick to one rigid workout plan, but that doesn’t mean she skips movement altogether. “I travel so much that I don’t have a set workout routine, but when I’m at home, I usually mix up my training with running, reformer Pilates, boxing, and yoga,” she shared.

When she’s on the road, flexibility becomes key. “When I’m away, I have 20–30 minute circuit programs that I can do in my hotel room or at a park," she added. "If I don’t have time to get to a gym, a short workout is always better than no workout at all.”

Epstein Shares Her Go-To Tips For The Perfect Bikini Shot

Of course, with a feed full of flawless swimwear snaps, fans often wonder if there’s a secret formula behind Epstein’s picture-perfect bikini shots. And according to the model, there definitely are a few tricks of the trade. “There are definitely tips and tricks to taking a good bikini photo; shooting a photo from above or from a higher angle will make you look smaller on your bottom half,” she shared. “Also, standing with good posture and on your toes will elongate your body.”

Lighting, she added, can make or break a shot. “Try to avoid shooting in direct overhead sunlight as it isn’t that flattering of lighting on anybody,” she shared. Still, for Epstein, confidence matters more than any camera angle, explaining, “But as far as poses go, I believe whatever feels most natural and comfortable is most flattering, and a smile goes a long way!”

Gabby Epstein Makes Daily Movement A Priority

And even when she’s in full vacation mode, Epstein doesn’t completely hit pause on her fitness routine. When asked how she stays in shape while traveling, the model said she makes movement a non-negotiable part of her day. “I try and set aside at least 45 minutes to an hour a day for some form of physical activity,” she explained. “I also try and work physical activities into the itinerary, paddle boarding, surfing, hiking, and swimming are fun activities that will definitely help you keep fit!”

Nutrition remains a priority, too. “I also try and eat as healthy as I can on vacation and avoid consuming sugar, processed foods, alcohol and simple carbohydrates," Epstein added. "No matter where you are there should be some kind of fresh high-protein, high-fiber food available.”
