A Georgia police department has issued a hilarious but firm warning to parents after a student was discovered with a Cutwater canned martini in their lunchbox.
The South Fulton Police Department previously gained attention this week for urging residents to stop calling their lines regarding the online feud between rappers T.I. and 50 Cent.

The department shared a photo of a typical school lunch—complete with fruit, a Lunchable, and Doritos. Nothing could've prepared them, however, for the Cutwater cocktail that was also included in the student's lunchbox.
Taking to Facebook, the South Fulton Police Department poked fun at the mix-up, writing, "Say Twin… Before you send them babies off to school… CHECK. THE. LUNCHBOX." The post continued, "Because why are we getting reports of juice boxes sitting next to… Cutwater margaritas??"
Cutwater Spirits produces a range of canned cocktails with a notably high alcohol content, with some varieties reaching 12.5% ABV.

The department continued its post by using humor to underscore a serious safety message for busy parents.
"That is NOT Capri Sun. That is NOT Apple Juice," they wrote. "That is a whole 'Parent had a long night' starter pack."
They didn't stop there, though. They added, "Now little Johnny done pulled up to 3rd period talking about. 'Who want fruit snacks?’ knowing good and well he got a Lemon Drop Martini in the zipper pocket."
Authorities advised parents to "TIGHTEN UP" and urged them to be more diligent during the morning rush.
"... your child shouldn't be the only one in the cafeteria with a beverage that requires an ID," the post read.

The incident highlights a growing concern regarding alcoholic beverages that closely resemble non-alcoholic drinks.
While products like Dunkin’ Donuts’ 2023 spiked tea line target adults, researchers like David Jernigan warn that such branding may inadvertently encourage underage consumption.
"We have more places to buy alcohol in Massachusetts than we have Dunkin’ Donuts," Jernigan said. "This is, among other things, another way to spread the Dunkin’ brand. My concern is just that this is too easy an entry point [to alcohol] for kids who already have loyalty to the brand."
Are Companies Blurring The Lines?
A report from The Wall Street Journal noted a similar trend, saying the line between adult and kids' drinks is starting to blur.
"My bigger concern about this, beyond the caffeine, is the brand blurring, and the taking of products and brands that are already popular among young people," Jernigan said. "I go to Dunkin’ Donuts and I see plenty of teenagers getting their coffee. It’s a similar thing with products like Hard Mountain Dew. Who loves Mountain Dew? Teenagers. These are brands that have strong brand loyalty among the population that’s not supposed to drink. This is allowing alcohol producers to take advantage of the brand loyalty that Dunkin’ has built up among teenagers."
Jernigan also challenged the assertion that canned cocktail manufacturers are strictly targeting a legal-age demographic.
"Oh, come on," he said. "These products have been heavily marketed to everybody and lots of adolescents are drinking them. We’re in the midst of a trend—and from a public health perspective, I don’t think it’s a good trend—of adult beverages crowding in on brands that have built a lot of youth loyalty."

The South Fulton Police Department first gained widespread attention in late February 2026 when they asked the public to stop reporting on the ongoing feud between 50 Cent and T.I.
"We are fully aware that T.I. and 50 Cent are currently engaged in a verbal discrepancy of lyrical proportions," the post read. "Please stop calling us about it..."
The department clarified that the situation "falls outside of our investigative jurisdiction," adding, "No units dispatched for vocabulary disputes."
The authorities' post came after the rappers began going back and forth online following 50 Cent's uploading an unflattering image of T.I.'s wife, Tiny.
Social media users reacted to the department's post, sharing their mixed reactions.
One user wrote, "Ain't NOTHING professional or serious no more," while another shared, "This is the most unserious time I've ever witnessed."
