If anyone thought Donald Trump would be silent after Robert De Niro’s outburst at him, they had another thing coming!
De Niro has been a longtime open critic of the U.S. leader and politically motivated others to do so.
However, Trump is now leveling some serious accusations at the “Godfather Part II” star’s recent outcry for citizens to get rid of their president.
Donald Trump Demands Robert De Niro Leave The U.S., Accusing Him Of Saying ‘Criminal’ Things

In a February 25th post on his Truth Social platform, the commander-in-chief lashed out at several critics, including Democratic Representatives Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, as well as De Niro.
Trump condemned Omar and Tlaib’s criticism of his State of the Union address, portraying their behavior as extreme and disruptive. He further described them as mentally unstable and “look like they should be institutionalized.”
He claimed their actions harmed the nation before turning his attention to De Niro, whom he insists should leave the country alongside the two lawmakers.
“They should actually get on a boat with Trump-deranged Robert De Niro, another sick and demented person with, I believe, an extremely Low IQ, who has absolutely no idea what he is doing or saying – some of which is seriously CRIMINAL!” Trump wrote.
Although the 79-year-old did not elaborate on the criminal allegations, he added that he watched De Niro break down during a broadcast and realized “that he may be even sicker than Crazy Rosie O'Donnell.”
Trump continued, “The only difference between De Niro and Rosie is that she is probably somewhat smarter than him, which isn't saying much.”
Robert De Niro Calls Donald Trump An ‘Enemy’ Of The Country

Trump’s scathing remarks to De Niro come hours after the actor’s emotional appearance on “The Best People With Nicole Wallace” podcast, where he urged citizens to stand against Trump.
As The Blast reported, the “Taxi Driver” star pushed for the people to kick out the president unless he would not voluntarily leave the White House. He then branded Trump as the “enemy” of the country.
De Niro accused the billionaire of ruining the nation, and noted it was up to citizens to step in and save it.
“People have to resist, resist, resist, resist, resist. That's the only way,” the 82-year-old said. “There's no magic. There's no nothing.”
Robert De Niro Backs Up No Kings Protest

The “Killers of the Flower Moon” actor’s call for action follows his long-standing stance of speaking up against Trump.
According to The Blast, De Niro made sure his voice was heard as he encouraged demonstrators to keep up with the “No Kings” protest, as public pressure is the language politicians understand.
He believed that the more people demonstrated, the more politicians would be compelled to take action against Trump.
According to him, it was either to face Trump or the “wrath” of the citizens. De Niro further emphasized that the rally was also a tool to kick the leader out of the White House.
Robert De Niro Previously Warned Donald Trump Would Be A ‘Nightmare’

Even way before the 2024 elections, the “Silver Linings Playbook” star has been vocal about his displeasure with Trump.
Per The Blast, during a past appearance on “Real Time with Bill Maher,” the movie director warned that re-electing the businessman would usher in what he described as a “nightmare.”
However, choosing Joe Biden would restore normalcy. Reflecting on the 2016 election, De Niro said he was stunned by Trump's victory, labeling him a "monster" and insisting he would never portray him on screen.
He went on to describe the president as "hateful," "sociopathic," and a "malignant narcissist."
How Jimmy Kimmel Reacted To Donald Trump’s SOTU Speech

De Niro isn't alone in his criticism. Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel also recently slammed Trump following his State of the Union address, which he described as "angry."
As The Blast reported, Kimmel mocked that the theme was “All foreigners are murderers,” and referenced Trump’s boast about tight immigration policies.
He added a jab about Trump's personal life, quipping, "But the door is always open to those who come in legally to be his next wife."
Kimmel further joked that the billionaire mogul’s hair "looked like a cloud on top of a sweet potato," and his "flop sweat and makeup combined to form a frothy, homemade Orange Julius on his face."
