Shia LaBeouf's Troubles Mount As His Case Leaves Judge Livid

Shia LaBeouf's matters are causing gasps even in the courtroom.

The Disney alum got slammed in court by the judge after more details surrounding his recent arrest were brought to light. He was arrested in New Orleans after a fight outside a bar amid his Mardi Gras celebrations, and as a result, he was charged with two counts of simple battery.

Shia LaBeouf has become a regular with legal issues, raising concern among fans amid his several failed attempts to turn a new leaf. His wife, Mia Goth, whom he has quietly separated from, has expressed deep concern for his mental health issues.

A judge rained flames on LaBeouf in court today because he allegedly used the homophobic F-word during his recent altercation in New Orleans, which led to his arrest.

The judge stated that by using such words, he had threatened the safety of a marginalized community, stressing that they had gone through "so much terror already."

According to previous reports, one of the victims told law enforcement that the actor hurled gay slurs at him during the street brawl. An incident report also claimed he used the f-word multiple times and even said, "These f--gots put me in jail. I'm a Catholic."

The judge also ordered the actor to participate in weekly drug tests, as he was not taking his addiction issues seriously. LaBeouf was also ordered to take a drug test down the hall, and the results showed he had something in his system.

The exact substance the results revealed was not disclosed, and according to TMZ, it was tagged a "private health matter." Ultimately, the judge set the Disney alum's bail at $100,000 and required him to get drug and alcohol treatment and participate in weekly drug tests upon release.

In the weeks leading up to the bar fight, which resulted in criminal charges, LaBeouf was found to be in connection with an altercation at a New Orleans residence involving an unnamed man and his ex-girlfriend.

Newly surfaced police records reveal law enforcement had previously been called to a home associated with LaBeouf with a report of a confrontation between the man and his former lover late at night.

They claimed the ex entered the residence uninvited, and a fight erupted. According to the authorities, the unnamed man was struck in his privates by his ex, and an arrest warrant was issued for her.

This alleged incident took place before the actor was seen involved in a physical confrontation with people outside a bar in the Marigny neighborhood on Mardi Gras Day. The Blast shared that he threw punches, striking two individuals, and had to be restrained by onlookers before police intervention.

After the police came, LaBeouf was taken into custody and booked for two counts of simple battery. He was released on his own recognizance and, as such, did not have to post bond. Reports also show that he was taken to the hospital because he had sustained some injuries during the fight.

Hours after his release, the Hollywood star returned to Bourbon Street, reviving his nightlife by joining the celebrations once more and drinking. The following day was a different vibe; he went out for a run after which he stopped at two catholic churches, probably to observe Ash Wednesday.

He could not go in because both churches, St. Francis of Assisi and St. Stephen, were closed when he arrived. His spiritual mode appeared to be short-lived as days later he was seen out flirting with a woman at a club. The pair reportedly kissed and hugged throughout the night, and LaBeouf appeared tipsy. 

The lovebirds have quietly separated for a while, and it was revealed that their split was a major reason why the TV star moved from Los Angeles to New Orleans.

Despite the status of their relationship, Goth apparently cares for LaBeouf, with whom she shares a daughter, Isabel. As the news of his recent street fight made waves, The Blast reports that Goth is worried about him and has urged him to seek professional help.

She wants him to check himself into a rehabilitation facility to help manage his drinking issues. LaBeouf previously declared he was sober, but his recent actions prove otherwise. Sources disclosed that the couple has been estranged for close to a year, but Goth still has a soft spot for him as the father of their child.

She is concerned and wants him to be present in Isabel's life. Before their low-key separation, there was a reported incident at their home, allegedly for stalking and disturbance of peace.

LaBeouf's mugshot, taken amid his arrest for the bar altercation, showed him looking worn out with a scruffy beard and hair. The 39-year-old actor took steps to tune up his appearance by visiting a barber shop days later. Photos showed him with his clean-shaven beard and neat haircut.

The actor was photographed launching his new look in a pair of cropped joggers, a red plaid fleece jacket, which he wore over a dark hoodie as he walked to his car from the barber shop.

He completely flipped the switch with this sharp look, as compared to the rough look he rocked during the Mardi Gras celebration. Paired with his simple outfit, LaBeouf looked fly, wearing a pair of running shoes and long socks, while he held a Los Angeles Kings beanie and yellow leather gloves with him.
