Nicole Kidman Will Use 'Close Circle' for Introduction To Love Interests After Keith Urban Divorce

Nicole Kidman is not looking for love just yet, but she hasn’t closed the door on finding another happily ever after altogether. 

Reports reveal that when the actress is ready to jump back into the dating pool, she will look to her friends to play matchmaker. 

Kidman was married to country singer Keith Urban for 19 years and shares two children together. They legally parted ways for good after finalizing their divorce on January 6. 

Since Kidman’s divorce was finalized, the actress’s life has reportedly settled down, as she is slowly finding her rhythm again as a newly single woman. 

According to People Magazine, a source revealed that the Golden Globe award winner is directing her energy towards things that bring her joy, such as her work and her family. 

However, on the love front, she’s moving at a much slower pace. “Nicole's not rushing into dating. She's in a really good place now,” the insider revealed.

The informant also shared that while the 58-year-old actress is taking her time with love, she has had “lighthearted” conversations with her close friends about dating again. Hence, when the time comes, they will likely play a huge role in helping her find love again.

“She doesn't feel any pressure. But when she's ready, she will rely on her close circle to make introductions. She's not someone who would jump into anything randomly,” the source noted. 

The update on Kidman’s romantic life came barely a week after a source revealed that, despite receiving romantic advances from Paul Salem, a wealthy businessman, the actress’s focus seems to lie elsewhere. 

The Blast confirmed that Salem, who is the chairman of MGM Resorts International, has reportedly shown interest in Kidman. However, they have not yet met privately, despite sharing mutual friends. 

The source also noted that the lack of a romantic relationship between Kidman and Salem ultimately stems from the former’s desire to be “focused on her kids” at this point in time. 

Kidman’s desire to focus on her kids for now doesn’t come as a surprise, seeing as her divorce from Urban is still relatively fresh. The actress filed for divorce on September 30, 2025, citing irreconcilable differences, and the divorce was finalized on January 6. 

The Blast confirmed that the duo’s 19-year marriage came to a definitive close after they both waived their claims to spousal support and child support. 

They also agreed to cover their individual legal fees. Meanwhile, when it comes to custody arrangements, Kidman will have their two teenage daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith, for 306 days in a year, while Urban will handle the remaining 59 days. 

Following their seemingly amicable divorce, Kidman is determined to take her time getting back into dating. However, reports suggest that Urban is going the opposite direction.

According to The Blast, the singer is reportedly in a new relationship with another romantic flame, and things may be heating up quickly between them.

Sources further claim that Urban’s new partner is Karley Scott Collins, adding that the two are already sharing an apartment together. 

One insider noted that Urban’s new relationship may account for the visible support Sunday and Faith have shown their mother in recent months. 

“I hear he [Urban] has someone, which is why the girls are publicly supporting Mom. People think they are even living together. Look, teen girls love their dads, so there's a reason they're making it three against one," the source said.

This came after rumors suggested that the root of Kidman and Urban’s separation could reportedly be traced back to infidelity on the singer’s part.  The speculations initially pointed to Maggie Baugh as the cause of Kidman and Urban's divorce before shifting to Collins. 

Despite claims that Urban and Collins have found love again and are now living together, the latter vehemently denied the rumors. 

As reported by The Blast, the 26-year-old singer shared a screenshot of a news story discussing their alleged relationship and claims that she had moved in with Urban. 

She then slammed the rumors as untrue, writing, “Y'all, this is absolutely RIDICULOUS and untrue.”
