According to a previous report from The Blast, Salt Lake City authorities confirmed they responded to a call earlier in the week about a possible overdose. When they arrived on the scene, they found Mary's son, Robert, dead.

Robert struggled with addiction, and during an emotional scene in an earlier episode of "RHOSLC," he spoke bravely with his mother about his challenges. After admitting to taking Xanax to help him "chill out," Robert revealed he'd begun taking harder drugs, explaining that being high made him feel like he was "adding seasoning to [my life]."

Robert was released from jail weeks before his untimely death, according to Page Six.

The 23-year-old had been arrested in November 2025 after a reported encounter with his ex-wife.

Robert was arrested months before that, in September, after allegedly trying to enter his ex-wife's home and later getting into a physical altercation with her father and a Salt Lake City police officer.

Clayton Simms, Robert's lawyer, described his time behind bars as a "blessing," sharing that it allowed him to "sober up and start thinking clearly."

RIP Robert.
